Hi,
It seems like the default WP behaviour for the Publish metabox is to position it on top of the editing section when the screen is narrow.
I think this is normal responsive design to adapt to IPads etc
When I narrow the screen by simply making my browser window narrower, with the plugin, the Publish metabox remains fixed in position, but is positioned OVER the editor, and hides the fields of the post.
]]>Hi, when the Update metabox is at the top of the page/editing screen, a dashed border is shown around it.
When the editing screen is scrolled down, this border moves up with the editing screen and away from the update metabox.
Is it possible to remove this dashed border?
Thanks
I have just installed and activated the plug-in for floating publisher button but I cannot find it anywhere on my site Is this something else I have got to do so it will appear on my pages. If anybody can advise me on this matter I’ll be grateful thank you in advance.john

A shame, as this should be a built in feature in WP
]]>Hi,
Nice plugin and thanks.
For me, it is mostly obscuring or covering my “logout” drop down panel located at the top right corner of the WP admin panel.
I hope you can fix that.
Cheers
hcsticky is a great sticky plugin. i was actually using it on my admin for something similar for anyone interested or if you want to add it:
$(“#side-sortables”).css(‘z-index’,’99’).hcSticky({noContainer:true, top:32});
It’s good when you have long navigation menus so you don’t have to scroll up and down every time you add a link, or page/post-type from the sidebar metabox.
]]>I hate to grumble, because I love this plugin!
But it makes the Publish button cover up the dialog box at the upper right of the Media Manager popup, which makes it a bit difficult to edit such things as a photo caption.
Is there any chance you can fix it?

]]>Great plugin, but the current version breaks the drag/drop capability in WordPress, in particular the possibility to reorder custom menu items.
