I have worked with Flex IDX and WordPress plugin since it was ‘rolled out’. Just like anything new and growing there are always fixes and enhancements to be made.
I have currently used the product on multiple websites over the years.
I love the ease of use of the plugin and it looks awesome on all devices!
My clients love the plugin: the professional, clean look and how it makes it very user friendly for their clients to search properties and save the favorites as well.
I have on occasion contacted tech support and they are very knowledgeable, quick to respond and friendly!
Great job on this outstanding plugin!

This is the worst IDX plugin I have used so far in my experience. Riddled with compatibility issues and script issues. Lots of backwards methods going on here.

Thanks to Brady for walking me through the process and getting this up and running. It works very well and the developer supports their product. What more could you possibly want?

This plug-in doesn’t work with the number 1 selling WordPress Theme Avada. Some style elements a copied which is nice but for the most part this looks worse than just simple frame-ins. Can’t customize to 100% width. This looks horrible but I guess we are stuck with using it in this association

I had some issues with the plugin, so I called support. Matt Flatin took care of the issue in about 10 seconds. Great customer support.

The plugin seems to be unstable as often getting lines of error codes which disappears on browser refresh. Also seems to have a bad connection to the MLS database. I recommend using another IDX provider.

Could not get Flexmls to work with my site.I wanted my money back, but since I went past the 30 days they said no refunds. Make sure everything is working correctly before your 30day is up.

The plugin is easy to use and understand, does what it says it will do and looks great. Best of all, the support is outstanding. Definitely recommend this plugin.

Just switched to FlexMLS IDX from another very good provider, as there were a few additional features they offered that we needed. The plugin integrates well with WordPress, and is easy to use (once you figure out the basics). Customer support was fantastic – it took me a couple tries to get one page setup the way I wanted and Matt was very helpful and patient, and continued to answer other questions I had. Our site is now fully setup and we are seeing an increase in SEO and leads because of it.

I absolutely love this plug in! it’s the best money I’ve ever spent. I’m a real estate broker with not much web development knowledge (first wordpress site), and it’s been easy for me to navigate and integrate with my current FlexMLS provider. it works very well! I’m super happy with it. I’ve had a little hiccups with Godaddy and their hosting, but the support from FBS has been tremendous in getting it worked out. I’m not sure why the reviews below have given low stars, cause I haven’t had a bad experience with support when I need it. I would recommend this plug in over any of the others, mainly because it’s directly linked to flexmls and the searches you can do, and customizations are out of this world!!! It’s quite amazing!

FlexMLS provides the data solution in the Phoenix area. I’ve always liked the idea of going directly to the source and not relying on a 3rd party vendor.
I’ve been using this plug-in for about 18 months. I had some early problems with widgets not displaying correctly and with images taking too long to load.
All of these problems have been resolved. The plug-in works seamlessly with our MLS, because they are the providers. I’m just now starting to become more involved with the mobile functionalities.
The plugin has continued to evolve and updates are coming quite regularly. I find it to be very versatile. There are a variety of widgets that include many display options. Many of their widgets are designed to have built-in SEO functionality. At this point I couldn’t see myself using any other MLS solution.
Matt has been my technical representative from the beginning. He has been nothing but helpful and responsive. He almost always picks up the phone when I call. E-mails are responded to within the hour, if not sooner. He is always willing to take suggestions and pass them on to the development team. This is a tremendous benefit in a time when there are so many vendors who won’t even publish their phone number and require 24 to 48 hours to respond.

FBS is the worst IDX provider on the planet! Their customer service sucks, their mobile versions don’t work on many of the modern androids, and the plugin is difficult to learn and manage.
What’s more, clients can never figure out the whole login/password process. I get about 200-300 registered users per month, and average 3-5 complaints per day. I simply must move on to a more reliable and user-friendly solution. And, to a company that gives a crap about their users and customers.

I have spent a lot of my career in the application support/development role. These guys have great customer service! Their widgets are young but have a lot of promise. I was able to get quick responses to my issues and questions.
They are also making sure that issues that arise that affect multiple clients gets addressed and the fix pushed in new iterations.
Everything I perceived that I would receive as a part of this widget they have delivered on and more.

I have currently used the product on 15+ websites.
I love the ‘buffet’ of widgets available, the ease of use of the plugin and it looks awesome on all devices!
All my clients love the plugin: the professional, clean look and how it makes it very user friendly for their clients to search properties and save the favorites as well.

I have been working with the FlexMLS IDX plugin for a year now and it’s a very good plugin; it works extremely well and I know first hand that the FlexMLS IDX plugin developers are working diligently on the evolution of the plugin. I know this because I oversee all our wordpress development in-house and I am on the phone or exchanging dialog with one of their lead developers on a weekly basis. I have never received the level of service that I’ve received from the FlexMLS team, from any other wordpress development team so that has been a huge plus. And all of you who have relationship with your wordpress website know from experience that even some of the best wordpress developers have a very challenging time servicing their customers.
The plugin is deep with functionality and ties into our FlexMLS contact management system seamlessly which for us is huge. We have been converting leads well through the IDX plugin and in greater numbers than the IDX plugins we came from so we know there are no questions in user friendliness.
I would recommend the plugin to any team of realtors who have the time and gumption to actually understand what it is they are buying.

Many problems. Poorly designed. Doesn’t function well. Not very user friendly on front end but even worse on backend. I’ve spent over a few weeks just trying to get this thing to function properly for my client. Very very disappointed.
Not useful in terms of SEO or lead capture.
All content is framed. They say on their website that the content is indexable, it is not at all other than the few search engines that can grab framed content.
Mobile version sucks. All widgets, pictures, and search results are Non responsive. In fact it just cuts off the content on the side so you can even scroll around to see it.
Mobile version goes to their own app which forces your potential clients to actually leave your site and go through a login process on their website… Never a good thing to have your potential clients leave your site.
Some photos get cropped in display windows.
Very difficult for anyone who is not tech savvy to customize as most of the customization must go through the agent’s account on the flexmls website.
Has trouble working with SEO plugins.
Conclusion:
You can achieve the same results with free “framed” idx plugins out there such as realbird. Why pay so much per month when it’s on the same level as the free plugins?

I am an agent in Albuquerque NM and our board switched to FlexMLS last year. I signed up for the premium IDX in December with WP Plugin and have since created 100’s of pages using the plugin. Here are a few things I like. The MLS and Client Portal integration, syncing allows clients that we have on a Portal to do their own searches on the custom site and save properties and searches. Also like the Neighborhood Templates pages, it make it easy and fast to create area specific search pages. The biggest feature is that you have no limit to the search customizations. Since the IDX is synced with your full MLS you really do not have any limit on the search criteria… if you can search it in the MLS, you can create an IDX search for it (of course as long as its’ public data).
I have used IDX Broker as well and would say some things are better with Flex and IDX Broker has a few features that Flex doses not have. Not a big deal, just different. I will say Flex is faster for building custom pages but does not have as many SEO options as IDX Broker. Anyway, if your MLS is using FlexMLS I would recommend it.
Be prepared for a little learning curve, but once you get it you can quickly create custom pages.

Trouble with the widgets displaying correctly and the shortcodes icon shown in documentation is no where to be found.
