Tested the plugin on WordPress 4.0 and discovered it works as advertised. Nothing to configure. Just add brackets to the widget titles you want to hide on the frontend and that’s it.

Sure, you could leave the widget title blank but if you use several text widgets, finding the one you want to edit in the backend of WordPress will be time consuming. This plugin solves that problem.
