]]>I have successfully installed Advanced File Manager and the plugin does exactly what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, the jump labels on my page no longer work.
If I click on a chapter in my table of contents that has a jump marker, the system jumps briefly to the chapter text and then immediately back to the top of the page.
As soon as I deactivate the plugin, the jump labels work perfectly again.
Can you kindly help me in this matter?

after this mornings upgrade to Advance File Manager 2.5.9,
pages embedded with the short code plugin no longer work.
The following error message is displayed:
Please install File Manager Advanced Plugin to make shortcode work.
A removal of the “file-manager-advanced” plugin directory and a file restore from backup
to version 2.5.8 fixed the problem.
I was able to reproduce the behavior in a testing environment.
Do you have an idea what may have caused this?

]]>I need to set default permissions for all created files and directories, so it is writable by a group.
I’ve found that the plugin is using elFinder and doesn’t pass dirMode or fileMode options to the constructor, so I modified the application/class_fma_connector.php file and hardcoded dirMode to 0775 and fileMode to 0664 and it seems to work as expected. Is there any chance that you expose default permissions in the settings page, or better (for me) as a wp-config option?

]]>The File Manager has, for several months, now been telling us that the folder that it manages and all of its subfolders are read-only, and all of the buttons having to do with altering the filesystem in any way are greyed out.
Our WordPress installation is on a Debian server, and the Debian server mounts the folder and subfolders in question, which are on a NAS, via cifs and SMB 3.11 with ntmsspi security, using the following line in /etc/fstab, where [IP] is the IP address of the NAS, [username] is the appropriate username on the NAS, [password] is the appropriate password on the NAS, and [domain] is the domain of the NAS.

Neither the aforementioned line in /etc/fstab, nor the permissions on the share on the NAS (i.e. “/Users/Media/Uploads”), nor the permissions for [username] have changed.

I like this plugin a lot but I do have the following issues (standard version in the backend):
- When trying to preview a file (PDF), the preview window will stay empty (white). Works, however, on a PC/MAC.
- Download and Open will just open the file (PDF) fullscreen without any chance to share or really download. Works, however, on a PC/MAC.
- More general: in the context menu, a share button is missing in order to be able to share files on the device to other apps. As a programmer, it should be quite easy to add a share button, using the standard Share API.

By the way, a colleague of mine has the same issues with the PRO shortcode version of Advanced File Manager.

I am experiencing an issue with the shortcode in the Google Chrome browser. I am using File Manager Advanced Version 5.2.4 and the Shortcode addon Version 2.5.3.
In Google Chrome, when attempting to open a folder, File Manager repeatedly opens the root folder instead. However, everything functions correctly in Incognito mode and in Firefox.
Additionally, when accessing the File Manager on the wp-admin page in Google Chrome, it works as expected.
I also observed that the plugin sends a request every second, and when attempting to navigate to a folder, the request is given a canceled status. Clearing the cache and restarting the browser did not resolve the issue.

When I upload a file in file manager it seems like it is uploading, but in reality nothing is transferred. No error appears, but the files are not there. When I upload over FTP it works and I am able to see those files in the file manager.
]]>I would like to hide the settings and all shortcodes (… Generator, …Settings -all yellow marked) from the file manager (advanced file manager pro) for all defined user roles, except Admin.
So that in the backend only the “File Manager” item is displayed for all user roles (except Admin).
Unfortunately I can’t find where I can adjust it.
The advanced file manager is used in combination with the User Role Editor.

I recently imported a new wordpress site based on a legacy one that was rendering a static html landing page using advanced file manager plugin. in the new site i refactored it so that it is leveraging custom fields. after importing the new wordpress that is using advanced custom fields im still seeing the file manager landing page. i have deactivated file manager as well as deleted it from the plugins folder in the code. why am i not seeing the custom theme i created?
