Hey, first time using this plugin, but it seems to fail every time despite best efforts.
We are migrating a very old Drupal site (unable to check the version, as we receive ‘error’ when trying to pull a status report… what a clunky CMS).
The settings.PHP file was blank for port and prefix, but I was able to get access to the server to confirm the prefix (the same as the db and username prefix). We also allowed remote MySQL connections using the new hostname/IP. Yet connections still fail.
The FAQ and support tickets say, ‘oh just manually import the Drupal DB to WP’. But we have some major concerns around that that I’m hoping you can help with:
Thanks for creating this plugin. It is literally the only option for people who don’t want to dig around in the mud with code to try and free people from this archaic CMS.
]]>when converting a drupal site, stories with multiple pictures are posing problems. The pictures are copied over, but in the generated HTML code, the supplemental pictures are still using the old link URI, eg instead of /wp-content/uploads/2022/10/p1_plage.jpg, I still get the old Drupal path /dp/files/p1_plage.jpg

I made an import including images. But in Media section still empty.

Hi,
we try to import content from a Drupal7 to a fresh and clean WordPress 6.2.2 and are able to import the news and most of the media, but no pages at all. Might this be a problem with Panelizer-Tool in our Drupal, even if there are only a few pages panelized?
Any other idea?
Thanks in advance & best regards
Chris
hello
I have a bug when setting up the drupal database. I get this message and I have the impression that the module cannot retrieve the database.
screen1
screen2
My import always stops at 30% and it throws the following msg: “[ERROR] Error:SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away”
Up to that point the users and other data were migrated successfully. I am using the premium version and the Commerce Add-On.
This is the printscreen: https://tinyurl.com/289zx8jk
Can you please help me out? Thanks!

Hi There,
I am trying to migrate all posts and images associated with the post from drupal to wordpress. but I am getting following error:

Can you please help me with this.

Hi FG,
I was wondering about the URLs after migration. We have successfully migrated the content over to a WordPress site. Except for some minor editing, the Drupal content is all there. Thank you!
But I wonder about the URLs. What happens to all the posts addresses after migration? Do they retain the /wpsite/ that is inserted by the plugin after the development?
And can the same IPNs by used for e-commerce even if they also have the /wpsite/ inserted into their URL?
Thanks.
]]>I’m trying to import a drupal database for a client. I’ve not used drupal before so not sure how the data structure goes, but the import log says:
`[WARNING] Your Drupal database contains users. You need the Premium version to import them.
[WARNING] Your Drupal database contains custom nodes. You need the Premium version to import them.
[WARNING] Your Drupal database contains custom taxonomies. You need the Premium version to import them.

[WARNING] Your Drupal database contains navigation menus. You need the Premium version to import them.
[WARNING] Your Drupal database contains forums. You need the Premium version and the Forum add-on to import them.`
All I want to import are the articles, some of which the client says he has set up as a specific content type, with a form designed to add them. It imports the static pages with no problem.
So what version/add-ons do I need to achieve this, and will it import as a custom post type?
]]>I have successfully imported all the Drupal content, but by the time I am ready to go live with the WordPress site the client will have made some new content in Drupal.

Thanks – and great work on the plugin ??

]]>Hi,
I couldn’t get the connection to work when connecting to the remote Drupal DB, so I exported the .sql file and imported it into my wordpress DB.
The connection works and does import content, however its very slow, and I keep needing to return to the import page and clicking the blue button that says ‘Start / Resume the import’. Each time it progresses about 1% and then stops.
I’m pleased with the way it works so I have paid for the premium version and several add-ons, however the import is even slower now as its importing more stuff.
I have updated php to the following:
max_input_vars=30000
max_execution_time=9999999
max_input_time=9999999
memory_limit=2G
post_max_size=1G
upload_max_filesize=1G
Is there anything else you can suggest that would help speed up the import?
]]>I tried an import to an empty WP database and PODs were created for custom content types, but the custom fields were not. I emptied the database and created the PODs manually with the fields using the same names as used in Drupal hoping that having the fields in place would let the mapping work. However, no data was copied into the custom fields. Is there something special that needs to be done to get the custom field data into the PODs?
