I had a good experience with this widget using previous version of WordPress. Now it won’t load RSS feeds in 4.7 or 4.7.1.

Between trying to figure out the java permissions issue, and not being able to GET a google API key (I got one once, weeks ago, don’t know what it is and suddenly it’s an impossible task in Google)…. I don’t believe this widget will ever get working. It seems too complicated. I mean, it LOOKS nice in the screenshots. Bummed, but must go look for another one tomorrow.
