There are NO “Format” or “Genesis Featured Video” areas showing on ANY post edit pages. WP 5.2.14 Genesis 3.3.5, Metro Pro child theme.

I’m currently at early stage of development a website.

I did download and enable this plugin , the problem is that it does work at iOs&mac devices but on windows it’s just simply dose not appear.

Maybe someone would know solution?

Featured images on unrelated posts are not shown if there is one post with featured video activated within the same feed. It only affects other posts on the same paginated page.

If there is one post using featured video on page 1 of the blog feed, all the other posts on that page which use regular featured images are shown without featured image. The images will be shown for all posts on page 2 and so on.

The problem persist with other Genesis themes as well.

I am using Foodie Pro child theme. The featured image is displayed on the homepage which I wanted to replace with featured video for the posts for which I have a video.

I added the Genesis Featured video plugin and added my youtube video link but the homepage still shows the featured image. Currently I’ve tried it only on one blog post: https://www.myweekendkitchen.in/vegan-leek-and-potato-soup-no-cream/

Do I have to remove the featured image completely? My RSS feature uses featured image so I wonder if I remove it, if it will affect that.

I really great plugin, but I had an issue with, ajax loading, something is wrong, with rendering.
I use this use this scenario: https://sridharkatakam.com/infinite-scroll-in-genesis/.
On inspection tool, I see that everything works well and all code is rendered but on the front showing empty div “<div style=”” class=”wp-video”>” ( but I can see youtube render code in developer tool )
Strange and I don’t have an idea how to fix

This plugin works well on my post after I added the code you recommended to show the featured video in my post as well as on the archive page.

However, I don’t want the video to show on my archive page. Is this possible (to have it only show on the post but not on the archive page)?

I’m using the child theme Seasoned Pro and would like to keep my featured images for blog posts (which are displayed at the top of the homepage), with the option of displaying featured videos for the same posts in Featured Categories near the bottom of the homepage. Is this option available?

When I set a featured image and a featured video with the plugin, the featured images display fine, but no videos display in my featured categories when I use the Featured Posts with Videos widget.

Using Genesis Modern Portfolio Pro Theme.
Have 12 videos in the “Portfolio” Widget on the front (home) page.
Would like to then have a 2nd page with 12 more in the same “portfolio” layout.
Thoughts on how to achieve this?

The images of the videos in the posts will not show if I use the pull-down of “show content limit”. Only “show content” works, but I don’t want all that text showing up on my front page.

I’ve installed your plugin. I did configure the format as video and add the youtube vid URL but the video does not show. There is no error or indication that anything is wrong. Please advise as to what I can try to make this work. Thanks. M.

I’ve tried to add video width the widget but only can select post categories, there’s no custom post type categories like widget “Genesis featured widget amplified”.
There is anyway to display custom post type categories?

Very useful plugin I must admit!

I would like to ask you if there is a way to implement a new option:
Keep the featured image on the blog page and swap it with the video on the single post page.

Also, it would be great to keep the original Youtube control bar without the overlay bar.

After activating the plugin, only the Featured videos are shown in the Child Genesis.
Currently I have it disabled until I get it to work.

It should work or I need to export it as child-theme?

The featured image of the posts is still showing on the blog page when the videos are added. I’ve looked through the functions.php to remove any instances that called on the featured image. What is the code that could be added to prevent this?

Running into a bit of an issue with the featured video not appear in the genesis slider. Can you recommend additional code to help populate the video?

How can I unhook the featured video from the entry-content and add it to the header on the single post and archive pages?

Can you use this OR the image thumbnail? is there a switch to use either a video or image?
