The web site linked in the admin panel is dead. The admin panel has a error message on getting the list of recent contributors. No way to tell if someone forked this plug in to keep it going. Developer has not updated any of his plugins since 2012.

Haven’t looked for any replacements, it does what I want, with a few extra templates and various small changes.
It should be easier to change the sort order in a template.

Works well, but the fact that it doesn’t draw from the standard page excerpt makes it really inconvenient. Looking for a suitable replacement for this plugin for this reason.
