Hi guys, there is a bug in the latest version.

In the frontend the Facebook reviews are not displayed. The plugin shows 0 stars and “based on 0 reviews”. In the browser console there is the error “TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘TrustReviews.Widget.init’)”

By editing the widget in the backend, everything works.

I installed the previous version 2.2.1 and everything works fine. Maybe the latest update introduced the bug.

Before, I was using the single Yelp plugin and switched to this multiplatform plugin, but I’m not seeing any documentation for the shortcode or a place to put the Yelp API key to display actual reviews.

I suspect the issue is the same for Facebook too, that is if the Facebook portion of the plugin worked anymore, but the “See All Reviews” link for Yelp points to Google and brings up a 404 error page instead of Yelp.

Suddenly I noticed that Facebook reviews on my website is showing ‘NaN years ago’.

I disabled the plugin then enabled it again with no positive results, then I deleted the DB and re-created it then configured the plugin from the beginning but the same results.

Can anyone help on this.

I’ve been trying to work on linking my boss’s Facebook account to our site for reviews using Trust.Reviews but nothing is working. FYI, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plug-in and tried to connect Facebook but unsuccessful. I even removed the plug-in from Facebook through business integrations. Need help asap please!

It seems to work well with Google.

Hi there,

I am trying to use the feature of hiding reviews, but its not working for some reason. I click “hide review” in the widget, then the review becomes grey..but as soon as I click save & update button, the reviews I hide before become active again and it does not disappear on the website.

Do you use WP Cron function by any chance? I have that disabled and I am wondering if that causes the issue..

Hi there, we have got an issue after updating past v2 that the add new widget area is not doing anything when connected to Facebook then clicking Save & Update. It simply just does nothing. There are no console errors to report I’m afraid. Secondly the shortcode are currently using as the widget area won’t work, the date of the review is showing as NaN years ago. Any issues? Thanks

The plugin says

“Settings saved successfully.” but the box blanks instantly and when I then try to link to google it obviously doesn’t work.

I’ve tried clicking the “intall from scratch” option under advanced.

I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plug

I’ve tried removing and and reinstalling the plugin

I’m on WordPress 6.4.3

Everything is simple and works, except “Based on xx reviews” this plugin doesn’t reflect the accurate number of reviews that our Facebook page has. It shows less than we have.

Can you fix that?

The plugin works fine. However, I would appreciate a Hungarian translation. I could not translate it with Loco Translate because it did not find any source texts to be translate.

Hi, thanks for this plugin! Any idea what’s causing the widget to not be flush with the left border on desktop browsers? (It looks fine on mobile Chrome). This issue shows for me on desktop Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

I have a problem with the logo not displaying.

It will not retrieve the FB image, and if I go to to shortcode settings I can ‘change logo image’, but there is no way to save the settings and the image disappears as soon as I leave the page, and Will not display on front either..

I found no setting to:

1. Filter out all reviews in facebook by keyword. I just need several of them, not all.

2. Also there are no possibility to show only one + pagination, i don’t need all list. I just need one and pagination. Is it possible?

Is there a way to limit the number of reviews that get pulled in? My client has almost 150 reviews but we only need to display last 6 for the sake of code optimization and speedup.

Tried to use the “Reviews limit” set to 6 but all almost 150 reviews are still pulled in.

I just installed the plugin on a new site and tried to link it to Facebook. It pops up the window and tells me to “Continue as …” my profile, so I click okay and then the window closes and nothing changes on the Plugin Shortcode page on the site. I removed the authorization/connection from my Facebook settings and tried again, no luck. Any ideas?

I’ve enabled the plugin, latest version. Got the Place ID and API key but when I try to create a shortcode, nothing appears.

For the FB login, I don’t get a login button on the Business Reviews settings section. I get one for the Social Reviews plugin but although it connects, it doesn’t update the settings. I’ve tried logging into FB 2x and removed the app and tried again but nothing displays.

I don’t have any plugins apart from Elementor.

Not sure what to do next?

I’ve been using your plugin and I’ve already set the options and tested the page many many times already, and most of the times, the user profile photos were showing.

However, they are not showing now, I don’t know why.

I’ve disconnected the Facebook connection and connected it again, no change.
I’ve disabled other image and cache plugins that could have eventually be an issue, no change.

I’m running out of options. My WordPress instalation is up to date, pretty much every plugin I have is up to date.

Is there anything else I can do to make sure the photos are displayed, before I go to the plugins list and disable everything and see if this is a plugin compatibility issue?
