Hello,
I’ve been trying to fix the distortion of an image on my highend wordpress site. The original size of the image is way to big. But when I go to Canva, change the size to 300×300 px, the image becomes pixelated.
Could you please tell me if that is the correct size (I did an internet search and 300×300 seemed to be a recommended medium size)? And also, how to make the original so that if I change the size it’s not pixelated.

]]>I love this plugin, but my only question is if we can get this to import facebook and Youtube videos? Right now, any time a person posts a video, it doesn’t appear. I’ll see a featured image thumbnail but there’s no media links imported. Is there something we can add to the code or some fix for this?
Thanks again, love your work. You should have a donate button in there.

When you use this plugin a list of FB-posts is elaborated. When you click on an FB-post, the post is viewed in the WP-theme as defined in single.php (or single-fb_group_post.php for individual modification).
But, how do I modify the my theme for the list of FB-posts?
]]>I have installed your plugin on my webpage in order to give non-facebook users access to material presented there.
See https://ronnespejder.dk/?post_type=fb_group_post
I have some issues with fitting your plugin into my theme. The very first is to get text translate, for instance:
under each facebook post it is stated: Posted by NN | View Post | View Group.
I would like to translate this into Danish but, how?
It was working for years, however it stopped working about one month ago. When I run the ?fb2wp_test it shows me a warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /home/my_site/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1879
Any tips?
Thanks
Can we export close fb group data?
]]>Hi, I used the plugin and it downloaded the Facebook Group posts and created the articles in WP.
If I try to edit the articles I see that there are the comments inside them, but visiting the pages the comments are not shown
this is because they have a different comment type that WordPress don’t know how to use and so it doesn’t show them
if I edit the plugin and removed this line
‘comment_type’ => ‘fb_group_post’
the comments are visible and public but they have no avatar image cause the function that applies them, after getting the profile images form Facebook, uses the comment type ‘fb_group_post’ and if that type doesn’t exist anymore cause of the line I removed, it doesn’t work.
Also I saw that the images inside the Group posts are downloaded and added to the media library and set as featured images.
It would be really great if they are also set as images inside the post along with the text of the post.
Sometimes even comments have images but I don’t see them so I suppose the plugin doesn’t look for them.
Making this plugin work right is very important for me. I’ll be very happy to pay you to do the necessary modifications for managing the comments and the images the right way. Just let me know how we can do this.
Thanks
Best Regards
I’ve installed the plugin, and it’s successfully brought in the posts from my public Facebook group. But they aren’t actually viewable on my published WordPress site – the individual posts show up under the FB Group Posts plugin in the dashboard, but none of the permalinks work, and the posts aren’t published externally to any URL that I can identify. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I really appreciate your tool. However, I was wondering if this may violate Facebook TOS.

]]>Does this plugin support importing posts from closed groups?
if it supports; does it support importing posts from “sale groups”
if you own a sale group in facebook, discussion and sale posts are different concepts.
btw this is a horrible plugin. lacking even a simple explanation about open vs closed groups. damn it.

]]>My endgame is to create a post for each status update in a facebook group.
Dont suppose this does that?
But to start will this plugin import images in the facebook group status update?
When using the plugin to scrape a group, it only imports 25 comments for each post. I believe this is due to the json output having some form of pagination. Any tips on how to restructure the Graph call to get all comments for each post for import?
]]>Hello,
First of all thank you so much for such a great plugin.
I am facing 3 problems if you could help me with
1. Comments are visible in the backend but are not visible in the front end. They are approved and in the front end only the count of comments on specific post is visible.
2. Sometimes a post with photo do not display the photo, instead it just display the text.
3. How can I change the size of the photo?
Hope somebody can help me with the stuff.
Thanks!

Hi, interesting plugin! Thanks for creating it.
But i cant make it work.
It imports the posts from the groupm but when i want to view them it shows a 404 error.
Also i dont understand where should the post appear. Should they appear next to my regular posts in the blog page? Nothing is there, maybe because of this error?
Thanks in advanced
Hey there, first of all, you’ve created a great plugin! But is it possible, that you add a function to scrape secret / closed groups in the near future. You can access through:
https://graph.facebook.com/v2.0/<groupid>/feed?limit=5000&access_token=<token>
