As this plugin was not updated for 3 years, I hesitated to give it a try.
However it still works in may 2019 on WP 5.2.1

Hope the author would consider keeping it up to date in the future.

A very useful Plugin. Switching between pages/posts can also be achieved w/o this plugin by opening another tab. But I agree with the author (Marc Wiest) that it might be easier on your cognition (it is on mine) to be able to switch between pages without having to scan through a bunch of tabs on top of the browser. (Marc wrote why he created this plugin on WP Tavern in an article by Jeff Chandler: https://wptavern.com/fast-page-switch-adds-a-quick-way-to-switch-between-pages-in-the-wordpress-backend).

This simple plugin works very well and saves a lot of clicks and time.

The intuitive interface is a breath of fresh air; it just makes sense. The current post is preselected. Post types are grouped which is great when you have multiple custom post types. But the best feature is the filter. Just type a few letters and the list is filtered to match.

I came across this and thought it was a brilliant idea and would be a great help if it was standard in WordPress 4.2.2.
I installed it and everything worked great so i installed it on a number of my sites.

Unfortunately I ran into two issues.
1.
It stops the Edit Permalink function from working
2.
On the Enfold theme which is one of the most popular on Themeforest it stops the advanced layout editor (page builder) from launching on Blog Posts.

I know this as I had to deactivate all my plugins to find the culprit and this was it.

Would be 5 stars if they fixed these two issues.

6/25 update: I’m having some issues with not being able to edit the permalink and schedule posts – once I deactivate the plugin, everything is OK. So I’m marking down my rating for now.

I have often thought why must I return to the all pages location just to switch to another page? This plugin does the job quickly and simply with a simple dropdown and no interference with my site. Great plugin!
