Thanks for the wonderful plugin.

I would like to use the widget in multiple sidebars (that is, main blog as well as blog posts) but I can currently only choose it once from the widget area.

I saw another post where you’ve suggested to add a certain code, I’ve added this to both styles.css and sidebar.php but without results.

Did I add it to the wrong section? ..and if not, is there a way to achieve this?

Hey, first of all, thanks for the amazing plugin. Now, im wondering if i can create multiple instances of the widget. I can only use it once and i would like to have it in other sidebars. Let me know if there is a way to make it work this way.

I’m NOT a programmer, but I’m pretty good at “Cut and Paste”. I want to place the base version of your category cloud in this page:

That page uses a Full-Page Template, and is a sub-menu of my Primary Blog Menu. I’m using an Avid Child Theme that displays a “Theme Functions” template in the WordPress Theme Editor (along with the Stylesheet).

First, Do I need to import any additional parent templates into my Child theme to enable you plugin?

Second, what/which Code can I copy & paste into the theme editor to accomplish my goal. I tried to past this:

<?php if (function_exists(‘byrev_cat_cloud’)) byrev_cat_cloud(); ?>

and it froze up my website. I had to uninstall the plugin via my host server, and then reinstal the plugin. That code is given on your developer’s page: https://byrev.org/bookmarks/fast-category-cloud-wordpress-plugin/.

Lastly, I’m trying to enable the base version on my Categories page ONLY. I don’t want it displayed on any other pages; and I don’t want to use the Widget Version.

i noticed that a few of my main categories are missing from the cloud…they are all tagged as category just like everything else, and there are 40 or more posts in each, yet its not showing up in the cloud. what’s going on?

The instructions on the Installation page aren’t entirely clear. You say:

Use Widget menu for config (for Widget Version). Basic Version use cofig from function’s call.

So which version have I just downloaded? The widget isn’t showing up on my Widgets page… :-/
