When creating structured data the xplainer plugin seems to generate data that throws errors and will prevent google from indexing the information on the page. A typical snippet of data from xplainer generates like below. Note the @type”:null section

FAQPage{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":null,"mainEntity":[{"@type":"Question","acceptedAnswer"
The snippet provided most likely wouldn’t throw errors in the traditional sense because it’s not actual code meant to be executed. It’s JSON-LD formatted data embedded in a script tag. However, there are a couple of potential issues to consider:
are meant for HTML and wouldn’t be interpreted by JSON parsers. These comments might cause issues if the data is being validated strictly.While these wouldn’t cause errors during execution, they might lead to parsing warnings or unexpected behavior depending on how the data is being used.
Here’s how you can fix the snippet:
Here’s an example of the corrected snippet:
JSON

{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "FAQPage",
"mainEntity": [
{
"@type": "Question",

Hi,
we used the xplainer plugin with great satisfaction on our single wordpress site.
However when we upgraded to multisite all the product descriptions disappeared from our site. When we disable the xplainer plugin the descriptions all come back again. (but naturally the FAQ sections are no longer available)

I am interested in enhancing the integration of FAQs into WooCommerce product category pages by automatically linking FAQ categories with product categories based on matching their slugs.
To implement this functionality, I need to know the identifier of the taxonomy that XPlainer uses for FAQ categories. This will allow me to search for and retrieve FAQ categories by slug, thereby displaying relevant FAQs on WooCommerce product category pages.
Could you please inform me what is the identifier of the taxonomy used by XPlainer for FAQ categories? Additionally, if you have any recommendations or best practices for efficiently implementing this functionality using your plugin, I would greatly appreciate if you could share them.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.

1/Installed and activated Xplainer, reviewed settings under plug in menu, but cannot access plugin from Admin menu to add and manage FAQ’s (nothing showing for xplainer or Woo faq and nothing under Woocommerce.
2/ can “Quick Add” from within a product backend, and the FAQ questions show up on the front end, but the answers in all cases are being replaced by the post author bio.

You can see the code in Does work has a long “value” but in the one that Doesn’t work it only shows “value”= W10=

Is there a faster way to add Global FAQs to all products?
For example, It would be better if we can mark some of the FAQs as Global, or have them added to a Global category so that they would show automatically on all products with a few clicks rather than having to edit each product manually!
Currently, I see that in order to add global FAQs with your plugin, we have to edit each product and select the FAQs that we want to add from the drop-down menu.
This is ok if for those who have a few products in their store, but we have hundreds of products so it is not practical having to edit every single product just to add global FAQs!
I hope you will consider implementing an easier way for adding global FAQs.
Other than that, it’s a great plugin. Thank you for your great work.

Hi,
I added FAQs to specific products. (First I added them globally in the Xplainer plugin, afterwards I connected them to the products.) But per product the wrong FAQ’s are shown on the frontend.
Example:
Product A with FAQs A
Product B with FAQs B
Frontend:
Product A with FAQS B
Product B with FAQS B
Nevermind, I used the [ffw_template] instead of [ffw_template dynamic_post=true] shortcode.
Kind regards,
Ken
Hi there,
For some reason the plugin button on the sidebar of my admin dash just disappeared. Now I can’t edit or manage any of the FAQs I created. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling, but it still doesn’t show up. Has anyone else had this issue or know a solution? Thanks.

Nice plugin but I have two questions for you:
1) is it possible to add a shortcode in the “Before FAQ” section and let it work? I added a form shortcode but it does’t work;
2) is it possible to have the FAQ (“domande e risposte”) tab always visible even if there are no questions yet?
Thanks

[ffw_template template=3 cat_ids="XXX"]
