Is there a way to make the plugin always include a featured image on every generated post?

I know you have the ability to add a featured image but is it possible to add a profile picutre? Doesn’t even have to be an image of a person, any image will do.

Will you offer dummy content creation for dummy fields?

I have a problem generating articles after upgrading to 0.6.3. I also recreated a virtual machine with WP 6.5.2, standard theme and only the FakerPress plugin but if I try to generate articles it reports “A critical error has occurred on your website.”.
How can I help you solve the problem?

I just generated some fake users and noticed that their user names, names, and emails are all inconsistent with one another. See the screenshot where for example the following user exists:

user: amaya.toy
email: [email protected]
name: Breanna Renner

This is making it difficult for me to test user sorting by different order by params since the names/emails/etc all seem to belong to entirely different people. They don’t of course, the values are just disconnected.

Of course, users could have emails and logins that don’t reflect their real names, but in the generated data I think it could be helpful for the users to have coherent profiles. So the sample user above might be instead:

name: Amaya Toy

I do not know which photos he is referring to but I was hoping that you could let me know all of the services that you have used in the past to generate placeholder images so that I can refer him to the potential source.

Hi, I ran into a few issues generating meta data that appear to be exclusive to PHP 8 and above. The issue is that in some places call_user_func_array is called, the array passed as parameters have non-numeric keys. But since PHP 8, those keys are passed as named parameters, throwing a fatal error when passed to the numberBetween function.

I was able to solve this in a pinch on my local install by wrapping the arguments parameter with “array_values”, I modified the following locations:
FakerPress\Provider\WP_Meta.php:26
FakerPress\Provider\WP_Meta.php:56

I saw in other spots in the plugin using call_user_func_array that you’ve already made this change, so I’m guessing just those two spots got missed. Thanks very much for your hard work building and supporting this very valuable plugin.

Your plugin works fine and I love it. It’s definitely the best in class for me. But my ask is to scramble existing content.

For example, I want to show how my site works (like demoing plugin features or site design) but I don’t want to actually show my existing customer data (name, email, etc). I need this for a video recording of a plugin I’m selling.

My ask is to make a feature that scrambles existing content. Things like names of users, their emails. Maybe others would like it as well for other users.

It seems that on some sites with Cloudflare protections there are issues on mass-generation of Posts. Please check.

Most of the images that are generated with posts are just blank. I guess one of the image sites is not connected properly anymore with the plugin. Please fix.

Hi. I should start by saying that I am new to WordPress.

When I activate the FakerPress plugin, I start getting a CSS loading issue and I am unable to add new pages. I am not sure what other areas are also affected. I went through my list of installed plugins, deactivated them all, then started enabling them one by one and was able to put together a list of plugins causing the issue, and FakerPress was one of them.

Any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

After generate tags and categories I tried to generate posts with these terms. There is no terms available in the term list.

I’m trying to add Yoast Focus Keyword for each post created by fakerpress. But it’s not working as I want. It usually adds keyword to only 1 post out of 5. I want keyword for all posts generated by fakerpress.

Also, I want a short word for each post like 2 random words e.g. “Et official”. Is that weight field for the number of characters?

Thanks for this plugin but I can’t use since Fakerpress doesn’t recognize already created taxonomy terms. Please take a look into these images.

As you can see, the category terms exists but Fakerpress detects none of them.

Do you knou what could be the problem?

It is not setting any featured image when I generate posts with it.
Can you please share the correct config, so that sets a featured image.

It is attaching images inside the post content though.

I just went to Fakerpress > posts and used the fields that are already there.
Didn’t add or remove any default fields.
