Hi there,
is it possible to make the plugin to scrape each post twice before posting it, as I do not know why, but when i debug posts manually via the facebook debugger, I have two click “fetch new scrape information” at least twice, before the thumbnail picture to appear?
Thanks
]]>Hi Viktor,
I think the plugin sends scrape info to Facebook even when the post status is Draft. I use the Redirection plugin, which shows me 404s coming from Facebook for post ids that are still in draft status. Is there any way you can make sure the status is published before sending the scrape info to Facebook?
Thanks!

]]>I am getting the same error message about not being able to rescrape even on a post type that isn’t allowed through the filter. Not all of the post types that aren’t allowed, just this one (from what I can tell so far).
So far, this plugin isn’t working at all…

]]>Hi Viktor,
I installed the plugin and used the filter to indicate which post types and taxonomies to scrape/rescrape.
I’ve only updated one page and one post (the only allowed post types) since installing the plugin, and both times, I got the error message:
Could not re-scrape Facebook meta data
I didn’t change the OG data, so that was no problem those times, but I hope we can get it to work before I do update OG data somewhere ??
I haven’t published anything new for either of those post types yet, so I don’t know what happens in that case.
The filter works, apparently, because I don’t get any error messages when updating or publishing post types which are not allowed via the filter.
I haven’t tried updating or publishing taxonomies yet, allowed or otherwise…

]]>Hi there,
I’ve got a few questions about how this plugin works and what it can do…
1) I’d like to confirm, based on your comment here, that the plugin only works when updating an already published post — it doesn’t do anything when first publishing a post. Is that right?
2) Does the plugin detect if there have been any changes to the og metada in order to decide whether it should tell Facebook to empty its Open Graph cache? What I mean is that if there haven’t been any changes to the og metadata, then it’s best for Facebook to retain the cached info. So say you’re just correcting a few typos or something, you might not want the plugin to do anything. I’m just wondering how the plugin accounts for such scenarios.
3) Does this plugin work on a site using the Yoast SEO plugin to set the og metadata?
4) Does the plugin also work with taxonomies? Since I’m using Yoast I can add og metadata to taxonomies. So if the plugin does work with taxonomies, is it possible to exclude some of them (the same way the plugin allows excluding post types)?
Thanks for clarifying things for me!

]]>Hi,
i’ve found that plugin while searching for a solution for WP, i have a question:
desc. of the need: my site lists rental properties. i also have large groups in FB that people post their properties.
i saw few websites that show group-subscribers’ posts as post on their WP.
i’d like to do the same.
would your plugin give me a basic possibility to collect/parse/scrape those posts? will i be able to put each post from FB as an entry in my WP DB as posts?
thanks.
