Suddenly my Facebook chat does not work on my clients website. At the same time an automated update of WP 6.5.3 has been made (I know I have set this to NOT auto-update from now on) . Is this correlated? Or any other suggestions on what might be wrong?

I got a problem when my chat plugin can work on mobile but not in PC.
When I use incognito browser, it can display but I cannot login to facebook.
When I use a cached browser, the plugin can display but just turn aroung.

FB Chat icon loading is very slow. It takes around 6 seconds on our WordPress website. It’s displayed only after an entire page is loaded.

Is there any way to make the FB chat icon display faster?

The chat works on my desktop but it doesn’t send the messages when I try to use the chat in Safari on my iPhone.

Or the message send, but it doesn’t show the “send” circle only the circle with the blue outline in my Safari browser.

On my Chrome browser it gives me the error message: “This message could not be sent.”

How can I solve this issue?

I have the issue on mulitiple sites.

The chat plugin is configured to allow Guest Chat, but on the actual website, it doesn’t allow Guest Chat and only gives the option to log in.

I have tried resetting, restarting, clearing cache, trying multiple browsers (Chrome and Edge), Mac and Windows, and also on Android and Apple phones, but the same thing persists.

Any idea what’s going on???

Hello, i previously used ‘fb for woocommerce’ plugin, but the chat stopped working there, so now i use ‘Facebook Chat Plugin – Live Chat Plugin for WordPress’ instead. The problem here is that after some time (i don’t know how long, just happened to see it twice in 1 month) the chat button disappears.
Then i have to go into the settings of the plugin again, and do the setup again. Configure how it looks, color etc.

Anybody else have this problem? And a solution?

I’m working on a site for a customer who wants a widget on her website which allows users to send a message directly to her phone. She has a fb page and so I started looking into the fb live chat widget. I want to test it out, so I’ve created a dummy fb account and a dummy fb page. I would like to hook up the dummy fb page to a fb live chat widget on the staging site https://signetcontemporaryart-stagingsite.com/
I have installed the plugin and activated it. Then, at the top of the plugins page there is a message that reads, “Facebook Chat Plugin is almost ready to use. Connect your Facebook page here to start receiving messages today.” I click the “here” hyperlink which takes me to the “Facebook Chat Plugin Settings” page, where I then click “Setup Chat Plugin”. A window opens with the message, “An administrator role is required on the target Facebook Page for the plugin. For other Facebook Pages not shown here, a user with an administrator role on the target Facebook Page should complete the setup.” However, when I click the “Select Facebook Page” dropdown menu, nothing happens. The dropdown button changes colour slightly as if it is supposed to be open and showing fb pages, but there are no fb pages for me to choose.

How do I fix this?

Facebook Plugins Didn’t Connect

Hi!

I have a multilingual site with WPML. In the settings of the plugin I can select the pages on which I’d like for the icon to be displayed.

If I select the English page and then switch to Dutch in the admin header, I can select the same page again (which is logical) but when I return to English, the page selected in that language is unselected again.

Also, if I select the option “All languages”, then all pages in all languages are shown and I can select both the English and Dutch page but even then the icon only displays on one page at a time.
