I’m using The Events Calendar Community Events plugin (a paid plugin) which allows external users to create events on our website via a form at the link above. You will need to create an account to list an event – please go ahead and do so if you want to see this problem actually occuring.
The UI for adding recurring events was broken, so I deactivated plugins until I found that “External & Affiliate Links Processor” was causing the issue.
When your plugin is activated, the following errors appear in the JavaScript when the “schedule multiple events” button is clicked:
events-recurrence.js?ver=4.4.32:770 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'toLowerCase' of undefined
at Object.my.update_rule_recurrence_text (events-recurrence.js?ver=4.4.32:770)
at HTMLInputElement.my.event.weekdays_changed (events-recurrence.js?ver=4.4.32:1099)
at HTMLDivElement.dispatch (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)
at HTMLDivElement.r.handle (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)
at Object.trigger (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)
at Object.a.event.trigger (jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:2)
at HTMLInputElement.<anonymous> (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)
at Function.each (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
at a.fn.init.each (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
at a.fn.init.trigger (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)
The relevant lines of TEC Community Events’ javascript seem to be:
var end_type = $rule.find( '[data-field="end-type"] option:selected' ).val();
end_type = end_type.toLowerCase().replace( ' ', '-' );
(the second one of those being the one with the error)
That’s about as far as I was able to dig, but I am guessing that your code is replacing something in the guts of the TEC code that is breaking things. Are you able to help me?
Regards,
Alex
]]>I tried to rework the zazzle part of the plugin to work with any site i choose
will become
https://www.anysite.com?rf=whateveriputhere
Thats all im trying to do with this lugin
alter one url/domain and add a simple paremeter to end on ALL links with that url.
I have searched everywhere for a way to do this and your plugin is the closest i have found.
ANy ideas on how do re-work your “zazzle” code ?
]]>Does this add rel=”noopener” to external links that open in new pages? I couldn’t find it in the settings, so I’m wondering if I need an extra plugin for that function.
]]>Hello,
I use the latest version of wordpress and also the latest version of that plugin. Before the last update, everything worked fine. But since I updated the plugin, it changed all of my text to weird characters.
Normally it should look like this:
As you can see, the ?,?,ü,? etc are shown correctly.
Since the plugin update it looks like that:
Did the last update changed the charset or something?
When I deactivate the plugin, everything is changed back to normal again.
I hope it’s just a small bug,
greetings, Korni ??
Hi
I have a website that has woocommerce on selling products.
It also has links to the other sites with the affilialte/external product option built in to woocommerce.
I’ve just installed this plugin hoping it would append my amazon id on to any product that I add that has an amazon link in, but it did not add the id. Nor did it seem to add the open in new window option.
Am I doing something wrong or is it only configured to work on blog and normal pages.
Also, if I am doing it wrong and it can work this way, would you ever plan to extend the functianlity to append ebay affiliate link?
thanks

]]>So I just want to clarify what this plugin does.
Let’s say I insert a link to my post (whether it be through a picture or an actual hyperlink) to Amazon.com (for example).
So a raw link like this straight from Amazon (or any link from Amazon):
Will this automatically add my affiliate tag to that link and still take me to the same product? I don’t care if anything after the ASIN is removed and my affiliate tag is added, but I still want to go to the same product I linked to with my affiliate tag automatically added.
Same question for other major affiliate networks that this plugin has support for?
And this will not randomly add someone elses affiliate tag accidentally?

]]>On your plugin description you say:
“Unlike other nofollow plugins which force every outbound link to be nofollow’d (or not), this plugin lets you select which domains get what treatment.
While on the plugin admin you say:
“By default all external (outbound) links will have rel=nofollow added.
So what is it? Are all outbound links nofollowed or just the ones on the blacklist?

]]>I’m seeing where it says this part:
“Enter Merchant ID’s for the Rakuten programs you’ve joined. For each program add a line of text in the format “domain merchantID”. You find the Merchant ID in the program information page for each program.”
But I got lost on how to do it exactly.
Any help with this issue will be appreciated.
