Hello – this starts from my previous question on assigning colours to GPX tracks…I have seen that I can use the theme option with an [elevation gpx=….] layer.
However, if I insert the theme option with a colour in an [elevation-track file=…] I do not see colours changing…could you kindly confirm that elevation-track *does not* recognize the “theme” option? If so, are there other ways to change the colour of an elevation-track layer?
Thank you, and best regards

Hello,
I have successfully used the plugin to display a single track, and would like to try the multiple tracks option.
My first test with this option did not work, so I tried as a second test to replicate the example provided in https://leafext.de/multielevation/elevation/ , by downloading the data, reloading it to my site, and adapting the URLs…however this does not work either.
this is the message I get under the map, instead of seeing the tracks. I can confirm that the URLs are correct, so I do not understand where the read error is triggered from. This is the code I used:

[leaflet-map height=450 fitbounds]

This is the output ….

….any idea of why this is not working properly?

Hello,
I am using the classic editor and added some 600 markers to a map. With each marker, a “
” tage is added and adds a lot of white space below the map. Somewhere in this forum, it was mentioned that the extension has a built-in function to remove those tags. But I haven’t found where to activate this function. What do I have to do to get rid of the many brrrr’s?
Best regards,

I have a kml of all the roads of an island and all the them have its respective name. I would like to be able to have access to those names so I can perform a search in the map. is that possible?
hello Support team.
I have a set of leaflet-markers with the iconClass=”bus” and a .kml set of markers for which I have used the same iconClass string name. when I try to group the leaflet-markers with the .kml markers using the option=”iconClass” values=”bus” it only seems to work with the leaflet-markers but not with the kml markers. is it possible to group them together?
thanks

I have a lot of markers in a map, perfectly located, but when I replace the default marker with my custom ones, they are only close to the place they should be. how could this be fixed?
thanks in advance
I’m really sorry for making this question. I know I’m missing something but can’t figure out what. I’m making a site in my localhost about an island. I’d like to use groups of markers to locate for example hospitals, gas stations, markets, etc. I manage to load the map and some not grouped markers but when I try to insert the codes from Extensions for Leaflet Map, they don’t work. so I’m guess I’m doing something wrong. would it be possible for you to assist me in such basic understanding of the System? please.

Hi! First of all, thank you again for all the work you put into this plugin. I really appreciate it.
Since updating from version 4.3.1, my targetmarkers Example: “[targetlink lat=49.201119 lng=10.583428 linktext=”Burgoberbach” zoom=10]” isn’t working as it was previously.
Now when I click on the link, it zooms out to the farthest level and shows a red circle around the coordinates. There’s an extramarker at the coordinates, and this one still shows up like normally.

Hi,
I use [overviewmap show_thumbnails latlngs=coords_depart icons=marker] on a page, to show all posts on the same map. It works fine.
But I don’t really understand how to clustering all points.
I tried to add [cluster], but it doesn’t work.
Is it possible to do that ?
Thanks.
Edit : Sorry, It works, I made a stupid mistake.
So after converting leaflet-markers to leaflet-geojson
I noticed a issue with some tooltips that are very large, do not stay active when you click on them. If I click, it moves the map, loads up the tooltip, then tooltip disappears.
https://i.imgur.com/ozGgMIQ.gif
If I have this in the previous format using a leaflet-marker – the Tooltip will stay up until you click somewhere else.
I assumed there is some setting or option to prevent this from happening???
So I have a new problem, i created many markers but they are all inlined, and not using geojson file..
I am trying to figure out how to use this:
Here is my basic markers.json
{
"type": "FeatureCollection",
"features": [
{
"type": "Feature",
"geometry": {
"type": "Point",
"coordinates": [40.979898069620155, -76.640625]
},
"properties": {
"names": "Zimmsville",
"descriptions": "Recommended Level 2",
"url": "/icons/union.png",
"size": [30, 30]
}
},
{
"type": "Feature",
"geometry": {
"type": "Point",
"coordinates": [56.36525013685609, 28.828125000000004]
},
"properties": {
"names": "Super Market",
"descriptions": "Recommended Level 15",
"url": "/icons/union.png",
"size": [30, 30]
}
}
]
}
Here is the shortcode:
[leaflet-geojson src=”/markers.json”
iconurl=”{url}”
iconsize=”{size}”
iconanchor=”15,30″
popupanchor=”0,-30″
tooltipanchor=”0,-15″]
{names} – {descriptions}[/leaflet-geojson]
This isnt showing the icons, it does show names and description
It seems the {url} is not pulling the data from the json, while the name / description works..
Can someone help make a basic example to get this working? I can then start to convert the others.
Another tidbit – So Just to try it out, I put {url} at {names} – {descriptions} – {url] [/leaflet-geojson]
and it shows the URL in the hover / tooltip , but for some reason, its not putting it in the other spot where it needs to go???
Hi everyone,
I’m facing an issue with a project involving two maps. One of my maps has markers, and the other displays GPX tracks. The problem arises when I try to add links with marker targets. The created links are not functioning as expected.
After investigating the JavaScript code, it seems that only the last map added is being considered. In my case, this is the map with the GPX tracks. As a result, the links with marker targets on the first map are not working.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Any chance that you looked into adding a Check box on the bottom of a Marker Tooltip, that users can Click which will then basically show another image noting that they have seen this area etc?
Example
Here is the marker code:
[leaflet-marker lat=-80.73942311286706 lng=126.95800781250001 iconurl=”union.png” iconsize=”30,30″]Union[/leaflet-marker]
So when people click on the Marker Found Button, it will then auto show
[leaflet-marker lat=-80.73942311286706 lng=126.95800781250001 iconurl=”union1.png” iconsize=”30,30″]Union[/leaflet-marker]
Union1.png which will make it show on the map differently then the default, so users know they have seen that marker and can check other places…
Hi, first of all this plugin is completely transforming the way I’m creating my website. So big big special thanks for making this and for maintaining it.
I hope it is ok if I post this here, this is more of a feature request than a support question.
When making overviewmaps I’d love to get the ability to combine multiple categories. Right now it selects category1 OR category2. What I was first expecting was that it’s category1 AND category2. I hope this is understandable.
While not as important, it would also be great if one could disable the error message “no leaflet-marker custom fields” when no posts have been found.
Thank you so much.
Hallo @hupe13,
Nico
While the shortcode [leaflet-marker title=This is my title …] works as expected and shows all given words, the [leaflet-extramarker title=This is my title …] shortcode only shows the first word “This”.
Is it a bug or am I missing something? Besides this, nice work with all these options. But I had a hard time understanding the documentation… ??
