Thank you.

Super easy to export the featured images from the old site and add them to new – even in 5.9. Great time saver!

Works in WP 5.7.2.
I don’t understand why the standard WP export doesn’t export featured images though…
But this plugin does so.

This works absolutely fine with WordPress 5.4.

This plugin is perfect and works with WP 5.4.2. I think you should update the readme.txt file and declare the compatibility with the last WP version.
It’s amazing after so many years, it still works.

Would be great if author could update tested up to 5.2.3 since plugin works just fine.

I just used this plung-in to transfert the featured images of one of my client site from wp.com to wp.org.
I worked perfectly. I almost didn’t try it because of the last comment but don’t listen to it as it worked like a charm on a WordPress version 5.2.3

This plugin is not working. Only one post exported and no featureed images. And will also not work if the old site is not available or when you are working from localhost.

This saved hours of time. I don’t know why WordPress’s default exporter doesn’t export featured images.

Had imported posts only from a WP 4.9.10 to a 5.0.4 and they ended up without the featured images. With this plugin I could export another xml file to import just those images.
Saved my day!

It works perfectly with WP 5.0.3.

Still working. However, does not come up in the search results in WP Plugin dashboard.

This worked perfectly with WordPress 4.9.8 as described below–if you get a timeout on the import (e.g. if you have a lot of posts and a shared hosting, like we do), edit the XML file to temporarily remove additional ‘items’ and then import piece-by-piece.

Worked perfectly with WordPress 4.9.5, no errors and assigned the correct images to the posts

where are the featured images exported to? all that I see exported is an xml file

Unfortunately it doesn’t work.

fully compatible with current version of wordpress 4.8.2

I was a bit reluctant to try this as it hasn’t been updated in so long but lo and behold it really does work! Great stuff, thanks very much for saving me so much time

Great plugin, even skips duplicates. Wish this was a built in functionality

Does what it said on the tin! Matched the right images to the right posts, after using a cloning tool and the standard import tool failed to do so.

Still works!
