When I connect zoom to the plugin, I’m getting the error: There was an error connecting to Zoom:?No State Provided
I’ve done everything per https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/location-types/zoom/

When I am trying to connect with my zoom account it gives me an error.

Please help me
The plugins can no longer connect to the Zoom account
We tried creating a new oauth app in Zoom and connecting, but it didn’t work.
We get the following error when trying to connect:
(object) array( 'code' => 124, 'message' => 'Invalid access token, this access token is not supported as query parameter string.', )
Is there any way to resolve this?
Ok… I have everything installed and configured as should be. However, when users register for a meeting via my website the default registration form (the only form available in the free version), only has a “Name” field available and no other fields can be added to the form without spending $90 a year for the pro version of the plugin.
The very real problem is that Zoom requires the “last_name” field in order for synchronization to to succeed.
The end result is that user that try to register receive a “pending approval” email following their registration, but do not receive a “approved / confirmation” email, even after the admin approves the registration.
The admin literally has to enter the each even that someone registers for and manually “re-send” the a “approved / confirmation” for each user…
This means that if you have a repeating zoom event that can hold 100 participants… You either a.) have to use hours and hours of time to manually approve each registrant… or b.) give in to “coercion” and pay $90 to save all the work you did just to configure the plugin.
There is “option c.)” to remove approval requirement altogether… but of course this results in users not being able to successfully register at all.
And, forgive my, my impatience.. I know its the holidays… But I have left previous messages on the support forum weeks ago, that never receive a reply.

First, thanks very much for creating this free add-on!
When a recurring event is created, individual Zoom events are created for each occurrence.
However, the Zoom events are created with date/time set to the date/time event was created, not the event date/time. Date/time is correctly updated when individual event occurrence is updated in WordPress.
Any help would be appreciated.
* I posted the same question to Events Manager Forums. So I closed this topic.
I’ve just installed Zoom integration plugin and tried to connect, but failed with “errorCode 4700”.
Followings are the details of the steps.
1) Once connected.
2) Some technical reasons, I disconnected.
3) Remove App ( OAuth ), and build again.
4) Tried to connect with new client ID and secret.
5) Error occurredas below : “{“status”:false,”errorCode”:4700,”errorMessage”:”Invalid Client ID<old client ID here>”,”result”:null}”
6) I did the same steps ( remove app on Zoom, and connect from WordPress dashboard ) few times, but nothing was happened.
Please let me know the how to resolve it.
Thanks.
Hello,
I got this error message after I tried to connect Events Manager with Zoom:
{“status”:false,”errorCode”:4700,”errorMessage”:”Invalid redirect ..
I checked the OAuth redirect url – it’s right.
What can be the problem?
Thanks

Hi,
I installed EM free and was able to create an event. I installed EM for ZOOM and when in Event Manager Options/settings/Zoom I paste the Zoom App ID and the Zoom App Secret I created by following your instructions. When I hit Save Changes, I get:
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@[mydomain].com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”
I tried installing activating WP Safe Mode as suggested, but I get the same result.

Hi, confirmations emails form zoom meetings bookings doesn’t seem to be working.
When an user sends their booking and booking approve is disabled they get:
Booking could not be created:
Could not automatically enroll you into the Zoom meeting. Please get in touch with the event organizer.
However booking actually works and if they reload the page they get “You are currently attending this event. Manage my bookings”
If bookings must be approved user receives the pending email, but when an admin confirms the booking an email is also NOT sent.
When you click in resend email it works.
Any ideas? I’m considering purchasing a license but this seems a bug and worries me.
Thank you
Hello, I get an error
“Could not automatically enroll you into the Zoom meeting. Please get in touch with the event organizer.”
while I try to test as a user to make a reservation for an Zoom meeting event.
I already successfully connected to my Zoom account with this document page:

Email test sending(SMTP) successfully sent.
What else do I need to look into?
Thank you so much.
Hi Marcus / Events Manager,
I’ll say it again, I think the Events Manager plugin is pretty darn fabulous and flexible. Now with the Zoom api addition its even cooler ??
Events Manager: Version 5.9.10
Events Manager Zoom: Version 1.2
I’ve git the Zoom app connected and it all seems to work great (mostly).
When you create a new event with Zoom as the location, the passcode is not properly updated on the Zoom side.
If you look at the meeting details displayed in the WordPress event editing page and the same event in Zoom, the initial passcode is correct and will update if you change it from the WordPress side. The passcode listed below the phone dial-in numbers seen on the Zoom side however is not correct nor is it updated when the passcode is changed on the WordPress side.
And a related question
Ive got the place holders:
#_EVENTLOCATION{id}
#_EVENTLOCATION{join_url}
#_EVENTLOCATION{password}
These are the critical meeting details but what is the placeholder for the selected dial-in phone numbers to include them in the email sent to the customer?
Other than that, Very Nice!
Hi Marcus / Events Manager,
This is simply a note to point out some slightly inaccurate information as of Feb 1 2021.
I have to say, while the Events Manager plugin is not necessarily the easiest thing to setup, I think its pretty darn fabulous and flexible. Now with the Zoom api addition its even cooler ??
Events Manager: Version 5.9.10
Events Manager Zoom: Version 1.2
When running through the Zoom side API setup using this info (https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/location-types/zoom/), for scope you note:
Users
View your user information (user:read)
View your profile information (user_profile)
These two user scopes do not exactly exist. The available options I see are:
View and manage sub accounts user information (user:master)
View all user information (user:read:admin)
View users information and manage users (user:write:admin)
The second in bold seemed most logical as your scope options only note view
The Meeting scope is as you describe, View and manage all user meetings (meeting:write:admin)
Using those settings seems to do the trick.
Thanks…
Hello,
As a workaround to another issue affecting Zoom meetings with “registration required” (I created another post for this), I decided to create my Zoom events with “No registration required” … but doing this, the problem is that booking confirmation emails are not sent upon booking validation by the admin : the admin has to edit the booking and ask for a confirmation email to be resent. Then the email gets though.
Note that I don’t have that problem with non-zoom events. Confirmation emails are sent automatically upon approval.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Lionel
Hello,
#_EVENTLOCATION{join_url} worked just fine until a week ago, for sending confirmation emails to users once registered, or (display on a web page) EG. In the confirmation email, this would provide them with a direct link to join the meeting. IE:
URL: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83271468562?pwd=ZnExWXIvbU5LYTVDLzFEM1RCc21NQT09
Now, the same process provide them with a link like this :
URL: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86571046284
so that they are now requested by zoom to register to the meeting
Note that I always selected registration required, Manual approval when creating my zoom events thru the plugin
I can see that the users emails have been automatically registered in zoom with a approved status. I can also see that Zoom now sends its own confirmation email with a valid direct join link that does not require any registration nor login.
The above shows that things have changed in Zoom and/or Event Manager
Moving forward,
1. I found that the #_EVENTLOCATION{join_url} placeholder is no longer usable whenever registration is required. In that case, the #_BOOKINGZOOMJOINLINK has what I was looking for, IE., a direct link for the participant to join the meeting. This placeholder works well in the confirmation email
 but it does not seem to be working in the single event page format, where I used to display the join_url on the event page, whenever the logged in user has a booking. If I replace #_EVENTLOCATION{join_url} by #_BOOKINGZOOMJOINLINK in the following code, #_BOOKINGZOOMJOINLINK does not get translated:
{is_user_attendee_1}

Lien de connection
Meeting ID : #_EVENTLOCATION{id}
Meeting Password : #_EVENTLOCATION{password}

{/is_user_attendee_1}
2. Until this is solved, I decided to create my events with no registration required. Problem here is, no confirmation email is sent to the participants after I approve their bookings. I think I’ll create a specific thread for that issue.
Looks like Im stuck here could someone please take a look into this ?
Thank you
Lionel
Short of time to investigate thoroughly myself by setting up a test environment…
I can see many references to webinar, but no examples of creating an event in Zoom as a webinar (one broadcast to many), rather than a meeting (many broadcast to many). It isn’t possible to import a list of participants into a zoom meeting using the zoom website, but it is possible to import a list into a zoom webinar. Is the only difference for this plugin the meeting URL? Can you confirm that it can register users for either zoom meetings or zoom webinars, with synching into zoom website?
Also, if each participant (not zoom meeting organizer) is an authenticated user on the wordpress site, then using the wordpress page to register in the meeting in zoom, and then they can browse the wordpress site to see an event page with a link to click on which is their unique event link (the unique meeting and participant link) that zoom sends them to click on to open zoom and attend the meeting? ie the event link is their link, not an open unauthenticated link which if shared allows anyone to attend?
And if I have a csv file of event attendees, is it easy to import this which then creates attendees/registrants in the meeting or webinar? I just need a link to a reference page showing this…I presume it’s as easy as updating WP database tables or something, but want to confirm that this is possible with the plugin…
Our organization has multiple Zoom users creating and managing overlapping public Zoom meetings, and we’d like them all to be on one nice WP calendar, but I’m not seeing any way to connect more than one Zoom account with this plugin. Am I missing something? I’m trying to break away from Google calendars but might be stuck with them if there’s no way to make EM work for us. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
I wonder if it might be a helpful feature to generate custom passcodes for each instance of a recurring event? Or at least to give the user the possibility to choose to enter an individual passcode (like now) or to let the system handle it and generate unique ones for every instance.

This plugin could do the following:
We would have a list with different companies and each company could have a calendar with dates and times where they can meet by zoom.
There the clients would choose the day and time and they would receive an email with the link to the zoom meeting.

Hi,
Did you know when we set up a Zoom Meeting through Events Manager with this plugin (Events Manager Zoom), we cannot use “Registration required, automatic approval”?
When we save the event with that option selected for “Require Registration”, it will default back to “Registration required, manual approval”.
This problem does not occur when we set up a Zoom Webinar.
