Hello there y saludos,
we love using your PlugIn and it works great!
My only question is – will this receive further updates (as it has not been changed since 11 months)? I only ask for security/compability reasons, still works great!
Best wishes from Alemania
Hola Buenas

Hi
It would be very helpful when list parameters (how many entries and which categories to show could be entered,
I want only to show the next church service on the entry page and on a separate page first the next x services and under another title all other events. Like in the example.
Hi people,
could you please change line #8 of “event-content.php” for this:
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_post_thumbnail() ?>
It makes the image clickable and so is more convenient for users.
Thank you very much,
Jean-Sébastien
Where is the shortcode?
Thanks
Hey there,
Cool plugin and just what I’m looking for! There seems to be an issue in that the save draft or publish button is unresponsive. I’m using Ascend Premium theme.
Thanks
I saw that events with a start AND end date where hiding as soon as they are started when I was using the “future events” setting.
I modified the code in eap-functions.php like so:
Line 112 use “until” date instead of “from” date:
‘key’ => ‘eap_until_day’,
The thing is I might loose that if there is an update and for it to work, you have to select an “until” date for each event. So we could force adding one… But I dont know how. If that could be included in the plugin it would be great! That or someone better than me could tell to use “until” date for inclusion rule but use “from” date is empty. I tried but failed ??
When ajusting an entry with the quick edit tool a new date is added.
After that the list order is not right anymore.
I have events in 2019 and 2020 they are mixed up now.
Feature request
It would be nice if it was possible to group the events by month.
Are you guys still applying updates and offering support for this plugin? I just want to make sure before I try it on my website. Thanks
Hi,
I’m tying to insert some custom text to an event post that has passed.
I customized your plugin to utilize your Event Location and Link fields to generate a link to a product page. I added some css to make the link into a styled button.
This is great for future events, but once an event passes i want to remove this button and replace it with some text like: “Registration is closed for this event”.
I can accomplish this by hacking adding a class to the past events page, then adding in some css to hide the link and insert some content. See my sample page here: https://humanesmarts.org/past-camps-and-events/
The problem i am having is, once a user clicks to the past event’s full event post, that css class is no longer present, so my custom css is not applied. This makes sense because the future and past events use the same template.
What I would love is if your plugin added a unique class to any post that is current or in the future, and another unique class for any post that is in the past. Can you do this?
This way i can write some custom css that only applies to future posts and some that only applies to past events.
I don’t want to edit anything in the actual plugin so I can continue to pull updates.
I hope I haven;t totally confused you… let me know.
Thanks!!
Hi, really liking this plugin so far. However, one of the issues is my client has more text than the read-more length allows and I don’t want to include a read more link to another page (just want a one-pager). How can I extend the length of the excerpt?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi guys,
I have an issue with this plugin.I build a test page with events a posts but unfortunately when i click ‘Read more’ i don’t see post content.
Thanks a lot.
Hi,
Always me.
I have another issue with the plugin. Probably the reason is conflict with the theme. But I think can be useful also for other people that use themes similar to mine.
The sigle event post page its ok, but its image (featured) image is cropped (while in the preview post is ok). I wonder why.
I try to set some value into your Settings->Style and set some CCS for
.eap__img { }. But no way.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Everything is great with this plugin, but..no way to have two columns in the list of the post
I set ‘2 columns’ in settings->style-> ‘Select the layout for the list of events’ to have events item in a two column list.
Then I’ve used this code: [display_all_events category=”eventi”] in the page.
But no way to have two columns style. Always 1 column (both on mobile or screen),
Thanks a lot.
Giorgio
PS
I tried to have a look here in eap-functions.php, but no way to understand what’s the matter..
elseif ( $setting[‘layout’] == 2 ) {
$css .= “.eap__list { display: -ms-grid; display: grid; grid-gap: 1.6em; background: $bg_color; }” .
“.eap__title { margin: .6em 0 .6em; }” .
“@media screen and (min-width: 576) { .eap__list { grid-template-columns: repeat(2, 1fr); } }”;
Do you have a shortcode or widget for upcoming events?
Hello,
I would like to customize the template for the event detail page.
How can I create a template file in my theme to make changes to the event detail page.
Thank you,

Hello,
I am testing your pluging, so far so good ??
But I cannot get to have the events-posts to show in a blog page (the category have been checked already).
Do I need to do something different ?
Thanks
Hi, we are currently trying to use your plugin on a test site and we are struggling to figure out how the date determines the order in which the ‘events’ are listed… i.e you can see the 3 test events we’ve used, but the date do not seem to be in any order!?
When trying to use the ‘future posts’ the shortcode doesn’t display anything, just ‘there are no events’?
The date is set to d:m:y
Ideally, we need to the feed to display the earliest date and for it to descend to the furthest date away.
Is this possible?
Thanks.
