Hello, I have The Events Calendar installed along with Event Importer for Meetup. They are both enabled and I did not receive any errors. I tried to follow your instructions for configuring the plugin, but my screen doesn’t match your instructions or screenshots. I bought the Event Aggregator for TEC thinking that was the issue (it said I had to install it in order to select Meetup, or anything besides CSV to import), but I can’t get meetups to load. Can the plugin import events from multiple meetup groups or just one?

I used this plugin for a few months, it worked like a charm.

Modern Tribe then came out with their own importer plugin called Event Aggregator.

Does this plugin work anymore?

When I go to Events/Import all I see is Event Aggregator features. Is there a way to give this plugin priority over the Modern Tribe Event Aggregator?

Thanks for integrating meetup events in Events Calendar. I was testing out meetup links with the plugin. When I deleted the meetup link, I noticed that it was still displaying recurring events for that meetup. Are these events stored in the database somewhere? How can I make sure that that events related to that meetup are not displayed?

I tried it out with a few meetups today; have a bunch of feedback if you’re looking for any user input, but thought I’d post here about three big ones.

• Cost import isn’t working. This meetup – https://www.meetup.com/Girl-Develop-It-Boston/events/232515354/ – has a $25 per person ticket price, but the cost field in the imported event is blank.
• Confused about View on Meetup.com option vs event link field. I saw you have an option to display some custom link text for meetup events; I just wanted to have the normal event link like other events so I didn’t check this. Looking through imported events though, none of them have anything in the event link field. Without this, there’s no way to view the source of the event or for anyone to find where they RSVP.
• Would be great to import group info as Organizer.

While the venue fields get populated, the Organizer fields do not. It would be great to get these filled in with the meetup group name and link. Right now there’s no way to tell which events came from which meetups.

I’m using WP 4.5.3, TEC 4.2.4, TEC Pro 4.2.3, this plugin 0.3.0

The plugin works well overall, but it seems to have a problem with venue information.

Event data is successfully being imported except for the venue information. All imported Meetup events seem to be getting assigned the same venue, not their real legit venue as seen at Meetup.com. The venue they’re getting is the last alphabetical venue I have listed in my TEC venues list.

Any help appreciated!

Events imported with the plugin don’t show google maps. I’ve worked around it by unsetting the venue, saving then setting the venue again.

I am looking for help with this plugin. I have everything setup, but I’m not sure how to correctly Import the timezone information for my monthly meetup meetings. It is not correct.

Maybe my issue is not knowing how to properly setup The Events Calendar from Modern Tribe.
