The support doesn’t reply on my requests anymore even though I paid the expensive annual maintenance fee. The plug-in is not user friendly to handle and customization is complicated. They do only the minimum maintenance on the plugin and just try to make money. I will switch to another plug-in. Best Michael

I had high hopes for Event Espresso, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. One of the major letdowns was the lack of responsiveness from their support team.
Speaking of bugs, I encountered several on their premium plugins and despite diligently reporting them, I never received a single response acknowledging or addressing the problems. It was frustrating to see my feedback go unnoticed and unresolved.
Moreover, the event management system provided by Event Espresso was lacking and cumbersome. The user interface felt outdated, reminiscent of the 90s, and navigating through the options proved to be a tedious task. The overall experience left much to be desired, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this plugin.
It is a plugin that I would recommend avoiding in favor of more reliable and user-friendly alternatives.

My client was looking for a way to offer event registration and management using his WordPress website. I compared a lot of plugins to check which plug-in had the most to offer in relation of the cost, and this plug-in is the way to go. Even without any paid extras, this plug-in is the only one that got our needs.
And if you need any extras, there are already a lot of add-ons that can be added. Don’t really find what you need? The Event Espresso team will gladly help you tailor to your needs. I’ve submitted many questions and requests, and the Event Espresso team was always very responsive and helpful, doing their best to support me as well as they could.
In short, I would not look further for any other solution, Event Espresso is the way to go.

I came across EE when I took over the website of a client who was using it. At first, I didn’t get involved much as things were setup but when I had another client with a new website that needed a scheduling system for training courses, I went to Event Espresso.
Their software isn’t for a WordPress Newbie but if you have some experience with installing plugins and configuring settings you can make it work fairly easily. There is some config that has to happen, but so it is with any software performing complex tasks, like EE is.
I’m still finding my way through it all, but the support offered through the Subscription is worth every penny. Whenever I run into something, the team is responsive. While they can’t always work miracles, they try darn hard to.

I can’t rate this product enough.
I bought the pro “gimme everything” version, with a view to probably taking advantage of the refund period as I wasn’t convinced it would be appropriate.
The feature set of the product is enormous. It’s not the most straight forward to set up, but the huge range of options means you can truly create something that does anything you need it to.
However, more than the product, their support team assisted me with an API integration and customisations for getting events from a multisite subsite displayed on the mainsite to facilitate multiple currencies, as we run events all over the world.
The fact that their support are willing to assist in honing code, instead of the usual “we don’t help with this stuff” attitude, means they are deserving of your investment.
If I could give 10 stars I would. The product – and the team behind it – are exemplars of the wordpress experience.

So I was excited to try out this plug-in. For a free version it has lots of options, even including payments. However, the Registration Form fields cannot be customized in any way. It has standard fields and that’s it, you can only select whether you want Address Details or not. You cannot add fields and the fields that are present cannot even be removed.
I’m sorry but I find customizing these a basic requirement for an event registration plug-in.
This was a total let-down for me. And maybe this should be made very clear on the description (the link ‘Manual Registration’ doesn’t really make it clear). I only found out after entering all kinds of details for events and venues.
