The Google Maps API is included using the following code:

This breaks on HTTPS sites. I recommend changing it to

At this stage I am a little suspicious that it is going to be of any use.
I am a long time TEC user (including Pro & other associated plugins) and looking for an alternative that supports Speakers (or teachers/presenters).
However, please tell me it is not true that I need to use a short-code on a page to display my events, rather than going to the designated URL for events, which in my case is https://www.waywardyogi.com/woo-events/
I have managed to display the woo-events on a page with the shortcode, but it shows the calendar view rather than the list view. How do I display the list view?
Also, when I go to the URL for a published event, I get a ‘page not found’ message.

This all seems like pretty basic stuff which just works out of the box for any other event plugin I have tried.

]]>Hello, Do you have a demo site so that I can see the pro version of this plugin in action? I just setup the free version and I had a problem immediately where I received a 404-page not found error. But I had seen a review that said to refresh my permalinks. So that’s all fixed. But the price of the ticket is showing in pounds, not dollars and I don’t see any place in the settings to change that. Both my organizer and my venue are set up as United States – Connecticut. But the price is showing up as £12.00, not $12.00.
Also, I need to add two types of tickets… General Admission at $12.00 and Senior Admission at $9.00… and I need to add at least two coupon codes that will only apply to the General Admission ticket. Is all of this possible?
Also, where would the ticket sales appear on the page? I want it to be the first thing that the attendees see. I hope to hear back from you quickly. This event is happening at the end of February and I need to launch this site quickly.

I’m having a couple of problems with this WooEvents Pro / Events Calendar & Ticketing, but the major one is that when a date of a recurrent event expires, it won’t let me buy the ones that are still active, everytime I choose a date it shows: “Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.”

It appears to me, that as a premium customer who has spent $200 on several plugins with Ignitewoo that they (Mark, it’s only one man – don’t be fooled) is awfully active for having ignored my support emails for months. Completely ignored yes.
I would like to ask the moderators / WordPress to review Ignitewoo – it cannot be possible that someone who does not give support to paying customers does his best on a global WordPress forum like this.
Once you end up buying a plugin, things change rapidly. If you’re still within a certain period whereby you can go to Paypal and claim your money back he’ll do whatever it takes to keep you satisfied.
Once you pass the claim period, he starts to ignore requests.
This developer is an insult to other developers who do their best to create quality wordpress plugins and support them. I cannot believe that someone is allowed to continue scamming people and to be associated with the WordPress name.
This has to stop and I ask if someone can please start an investigation. I have all the purchase notes, email exchanges, Twitter notes and web proof to back up my claims.
]]>For a while now, my event calendar was working fine except that one event was showing up twice on the same day. Now, I have multiple events showing doubles or more, as well as many events being displayed on the wrong day, and sometimes even the wrong month. I think it was one of the last two updates that did it, but not sure. As it stands now, the calendar is unusable to me and I’ve removed it from my site temporarily.
]]>I am in the market for an event calendar and booking plugin. This was one of the top contenders. Until I saw the review & comments between amdoolittle & IgniteWoo (author).
As a small business owner, I would love to understand why someone chooses to not do business with us, but instead goes to our competitor. As a courtesy to IgniteWoo, I am posting the reason why this customer has decided to go elsewhere.
Even assuming that amdoolitle was being a complete jerk who can’t read or follow directions – I don’t think he was, but let’s pretend – that is not an excuse for the level of “customer service” expressed by IgniteWoo.
Is this what I am going to get if I need help, or find something confusing, or (godforbid) don’t read everything 100%? Don’t get me wrong, I like snark and sarcasm as much as the next guy…actually more. But it has no place in dealing with customers.
I deal with idiot customers all day – I hope I am never having a day so bad that I would speak to any of them in this manner. I might think it (and probably do), but I would never say it. I certainly wouldn’t say it publicly where some potential customer might over hear me.
]]>Regarding the event page ( in the admin ) there are some strange bugs…
The “?” icons have broken paths… I notice the path is wrong… it is:
/wp-content/plugins/event-calendar-ticketing/includes//assets/images/help.png
but there is no images folder in the includes folder, you see the double “//” in the path as well… I had to download the assets/images folders, place them in the includes folder and upload for the images to display… also, the elements have inline styles ( widths )
eg:
#ignitewoo_events_wrap label, #ignitewoo_events_wrap legend {
float: left;
padding: 0;
width: 150px;
}
which looks like it is in the “/wp-admin/post.php?post=163&action=edit” and it is breaking the venue line…
