Hi – I can’t get the product link shortcode generated by the plugin to work.
I set up a product with EU and non-EU URLs, resulting in the shortcode [euvat_countrydetect product_id=”NLP Trainer Megapack”].
I set up a test page including this text:
NLP Trainer’s Megapack [euvat_countrydetect product_id=”NLP Trainer MegaPack”]
The resulting page shows this:
NLP Trainer’s Megapack https://webstore.coachingleaders.co.uk/location-detect/?product=NLP%20Trainer%20MegaPack
I was expecting some kind of clickable link – was I wrong to do so? Do I need to put something else with the shortcode to make a clickable link?
Thanks,
Andy Smith
Hi There,
I love the idea of this plugin.
I have installed and tried it on two different installations of Optimizpress, but get the same fatal error from both of them, however the two options under General Settings are ticked:
Fatal error: GeoIP API: Error traversing database – perhaps it is corrupt? in /home/XXXXXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/eu-vat-redirect/extlib/geoip.inc on line 1764
I’d be grateful for any assistance in fixing this.
Many thanks,
Francis
]]>Hi,
many thanks for developing this plug-in, its a great and useful tool.
However, i have a problem with the ID field. I am using ‘Easy Digital Downloads’ to sell products online and it does not give the product ID anywhere.
Would you be able to help me with this? I really need to make this work.
Many thanks and have a great day.
]]>Hi, Great plugin.
Is there a way that the plugin redirect all EU ip to a different link ( as it does now ) but you can select one EU country so the plugin doesn’t redirect that especific country, and handle it as it would a non-EU country.
Thank you.
]]>Hi,
I installed and activated the EU VAT Redirect plugin, & tried to set it up using these installation instructions:
2) Go to ‘Settings’ then ‘EU VAT Redirect’ to setup the plugin.
But there is no EU VAT Redirect option showing under the Settings menu.
The 2 pages have been created as expected.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
