Could the maintainer set id="eu_cookie_notify" on the element that holds the message, so browser plug-ins could discreetly inform the user about cookies by displaying small icon instead?

This plugin works really well on several of my sites, but does not work on this one:

The bar appears at the top, but the tick box is untickable, and the continue button does not work.

I think this plugin should be updated with the option to be more like a lot of sites are implementing the new cookie law.

e.g. https://www.virgin.com and https://www.bbc.co.uk.

Have like accept or deny buttons. If they don’t click any they assume they are accepted and are auto accepted.

When I add new cookies to the list they’re not saving – the message box at the top says they have but they don’t appear on the list.

How long is the cookie lifespan?

It would be good if there was a way in settings to be able to set how long you want the cookie to last for.

Is this plugin multisite compatible? It seems like the plugin JS and CSS are loading fine, but it is spitting out ARRAY values instead of the text values in the plugin.

The plugin does not record acceptance of cookies and keeps asking for acceptance on every reload. Any chance for fix? Thanks

How come this only detects Google Analytics and WordPress cookies.

Can it not detect automatically other cookies the sites place?

A lot of people have things like Facebook and Twitter share/like buttons which place quite a few cookies.

I have been looking into the EU Cookie directive and found this plugin that does the job to a point in that it deals with WordPress cookies and opting in in line with the ICO site, which is what I wanted. However, I have Google Analytics installed and the cookies generated by that are being set when the page loads as normal. Has anyone come across this, or knows of a fix to stop these cookies as well?
