]]>I have eShop 6.2.8 running on a WordPress 4.8.3 site that was migrated to a new host a few months back. I have noticed that the one discount code I have does not work. The last time it worked was November 2016. I can see the Discount Code, edit it, make it active, etc. but the opportunity to type in the discount on checkout never shows up? It is set for % Limited by Date and that is set for 11/26/17. Any ideas?

I have been searching for an alternative to eshop ever since Wordfence indicated it has been removed from WP for no longer being supported.
I don’t think I want to go in and re-create everything in Woo. My payment gateway is still paypal so I’m wondering what people think about some of the simple paypal carts? Years ago I had done the buy now buttons from paypal but that is too much work and the paypal shipping calculator is not functional for me anyway. I like to be able to just use the pages I have already made and to use some of them as products but not all.
I would like something that allows at least some inventory tracking so that it doesn’t let people order more than I have available at any given time. I know some of the paypal carts don’t have any sort of inventory tracking.

eShop uses WordPress posts and pages – it’s great.
Others like Woo forces you to create separate product pages within Woo. If I change to something like Woo I lose all my backlinks. I need something that uses WordPress Posts and Pages for product pages.
]]>Hi, is there a way to remove the pay via paypal logo at the bottom when you are ready to check out? I notice that the logo does not do anything so its not necessary for it to be on the page.

]]>I’ve used eShop for years with digital downloads. Haven’t uploaded a new file in a year and it’s giving errors when uploading and also when you go to the downloads section I see this:

I believe the plugin is no longer compatible with the latest 4.6 version of WordPress.

]]>I’ve been using eShop for 3 years and it’s been working great. I don’t see any documentionation anywhere though that says whether eShop will work with WordPress 4.6? Does anyone know if it will? I also noticed that eShop is no longer avalable to download anywhere on the WordPress Plugin site. Has it been abandoned by the developer? I’m hoping that’s not the case, it’s a great plugin.

I’m new to eShop Plugin (took over customer’s website from a retired web developer).
Customer wants shipping options as below:
Order A:
Canada: $4.10
US: $10.30
World: $15.00
Order B:
Canada: $4.10
US: $10.30
World: $15.00
Order A&B Together (set up as Option Set):
Canada: $12.00
US: $13.70
World: $25.00
Is this possible? Currently I have option sets created for the two products together. I can’t find any resources relating to this specific issue. Please let me know if you can help or point to documentation.

I have the same issue but to avoid any incompatibility with any plug-in I have installed a new WordPress site with a new blank data base. I have installed just eshop and the first thing I have made is to add a new discount code, but it does not show up at the bottom of the Discount page.
As I have read you did not have that problem, Do you mind if I give you the WordPress credentials to have a look?

So, before I play about with this plugin is there any way it can be used alongside and existing blog? I don’t want post appearing as products and products as posts if you get me.

A client of mine asked me to check why he doesn’t get any notification emails from eShop.
I put the shop in test mode and made a test order, did not get any emails. He hasnt gotten any mails for a few months.
I took a look at his orders, since the 20th of december 2015 all orders appear twice.. and they are all marked Processing in the Shipped tab except for one, which has a transaction ID. The test order I made (shop in test mode) also appears twice. He can see payments in the bank.
The site is on a multisite network, only one site uses eShop though. What is the best practice to debug this?
]]>When you add a product to your cart it doesn’t show instantly in the shopping cart (down the right hand side of the page), it looks like a refresh is needed as it show once you go on to another page. How do I rectify this please.

]]>Have just updated to the latest version of eShop 6.3.14 and of WordPress since then when shoppers at the checkout complete their address details and click on confirmation they are taken to an ‘Email ‘Checkout’ to a friend’ page. I have deactivated and reactivated eShop without success.

I have a product that I offer as a free download along with my regular items. When a customer tries to “purchase” ONLY that free item, though, they get an error (when they click “Proceed to Checkout”) that their cart is empty.
Is there some way to convince eShop that even a zero balance cart is acceptable as long as there’s a product to download in the cart?

I use eShop on my web site, and under the eShop widget, I have my “eShop From email address” as [email protected]. Under the “Merchant Gateways” tab I have PayPal (naturally) and my “Main Account email address” as [email protected] (as above) and my “Secondary email address” as [email protected]
The trouble is that when people buy from me the email address that comes up on their PayPal invoices etc. is the secondary email address [email protected] and not the main account email address [email protected]. Also all notifications about purchases are sent to my secondary email address and not the main account one.
Any idea why this is please?

Pardon me for perhaps stupid questions, but I cannot find answers anywhere.
My client has a blog with one image per post, and she has 1500 posts. She wants to sell these photographs as framed/not framed. They are all exactly the same size, with exactly the same alternatives. For example:
frame:
none
black
white
size (without frames):
20×20
30×30
40×40
size with frame:
(20×20) = 30×30
(30×30) = 40×40
(40×40) = 50×50
I have made these in the “option sets”.
Questions:
1. can eShop be automated to apply these option sets alternatives to every post? If not, is there a way of doing it by bulk? (for unique eShop ID I am happy to use post ID, though ideally: postID+imagename)
2. Further, I do not understand what the use of the “product options” is in each post in this case? I would like to use option sets only.
3. can I make dropdowns conditional? For example: if I have chosen frame, can I then show just the frame sizes?

I’m having a problem with your eshop plugin.
When a costumer choose the “cash payment” option the plugin add 3 euros even if I don’t use taxes and the shipping rates are all set to 0.

eShop has been working perfectly for years on our wordpress multisite. A few weeks ago, we installed an Events Manager plugin which requires IPN – we enabled IPN on our Paypal – but soon received an email similar to the one copied below. So we turned off IPN on Paypal and directed the Events Manager plugin to a different paypal account. We continue to get these email warnings from Paypal (I’ve replaced private content with <…> below – the email contains our actual name and site) HELP – what should I do ?
