Great plugin, thanks!
Unfortunately, no updates for too long : “Reply” link doesn’t work with WordPress version 5.1.
Thank you for fixing it.

This plugins seem to have a nice upgrade to the built-in WP comment system.
However currently it does not work well on my website (in Hebrew).
It seem that the Right-to-left languages is currently not supported.
I hope it would be supported in the next version.

Doesn’t require you to make an account and log in to comment, loads fast and meshes beautifully with the theme and style of my site, and the support team was very quick to respond when I did have an issue. Definitely worth a try, and their postmatic sounds interesting too.

Installed and worked straight away, nice job, refreshes comments and enables us to have live interaction with our live streamed video content with logged in users.

I’ve been using Epoch in conjunction with the Postmatic commenting plugin. I made the switch from Disqus which I had previously used for years.
Epoch gives a very similar look and feel to Disqus, but in my experience it is much quicker and means that my pages load time has decreased significantly. This has been a problem in the past on a few blog posts which have over 500 comments.
I like the way I can change the order from ascending to descending and the way it mimics the look and feel of the design of my website.
Good support from the plugin author too.

Requires around 3 other plugins to get the most out of it. My question is, what happens when these plugins stop working? Should users keep bouncing from one plug-in to the other? The social plugin has not been updated since 2014, and I believe the Markup plug-in is the same.
You guys need to integrate these features into Epoch and not leave us to the whims of other plugins. These are some of the reasons why folks continue using Disqus and Jetpack, because the necessary things such as social login are all built-in.
Plus, relying on other plugins takes away the cleanness Epoch brings to the table. With Disqus, everything blends together, everything is seamless

Epoch has become my go-to solution when comments slow down the pageload of my clients’ websites.

Crazy awesome comment plugin.
The next thing on my wish-list is inline comment previews.

Great plugin to get the power of the Web 2.0 into your comment system. Works great together with Postmatic!

I’ve been a fan of what you guys are trying to do ever since you collared me back at the start of the year, inviting me to have a look at Postmatic.
With each new update to Postmatic, I’ve been impressed. With each new goal shared about where you want to take it, and what you want to do for bloggers, I’ve been impressed.
Epoch was a little different. It took me a while to grow to like it, primarily because it was such a basic solution in its early format, and there were some formatting issues based on the form itself and how it worked with themes.
But, much like you always do, you asked for feedback, and listened, and implemented. Slowly, I could see the benefits of Epoch, and made the full-time switch over. And I’m happy I did.
The new 1.0 version is very slick, and super easy to implement. And I love that you carry over the typography and design, so it very much looks and feels like native commenting, while being much more.
I hope this is another piece of the Postmatic success puzzle.

Epoch brings the missing minimum functionality to the WordPress comment system that’s necessary for a reliable, friendly user experience.

Epoch has been built for people that don’t like the comment template that came with their theme, but don’t want to sacrifice privacy and integrity by running Disqus.
It brings comments back home to WordPress and does so while out-performing every else.. and flawlessly integrating with your theme at the same time.
Integrated, lean, fast, and private. Epoch is looking great.

I don’t see my comments after installation.
Tried to post a new comment, nothing works… just one red blink after submitting…

I know it is related to my other plugins or to my theme or my css, but comments and comment form doesn’t show well. The “none” option doesn’t help to show my regular display.
Moore, the comments are not shown with a translated (duplicated)post with Wpml plugin (?lang=fr).
I will wait for the next version ??
