Hi,
I have downloaded Embed Code to insert a donation form plugin. By mistake, I first put the embed code in the settings area of the plugin’s head tag that puts in globally on the site. I only want the code to appear on a specific page. I went back to settings and deleted the code and saved changes. The code reappears. I have tried deactivating and uninstalling the plugin. Re-installing and activating makes the same code appear in the global head tag even though I did not put it back in. it’s forcing me to have something in that code box. The code was replaced with a / but that shows on my website page. How do I leave this area blank and only have the code appear on my page by pasting code on the embed code field on that page.
Took some figuring out where the issue was coming from but narrowed it down to this plugin.
You can check my test domain.
You can click the hello world post as it has not header script, if you click the test post on desktop it wont load, from the back-end when I click preview or the direct link, nothing happens.
However on my phone it does work.
Weird.
]]>Hi people,
I need to add some meta tags to existing header sections in individual posts/pages and have been struggling to figure out how to do that.
Can your plugin achieve this or would I have to recreate the entire header section and reinput the existing codes on indivual posts/pages?
I hope my question is clear ??
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
Thank you for this excellent plugin. It works well with regular posts on my site. I am having trouble in embedding codes in slightly different type of posts, such as lesson posts defined by LearnPress plugin. Here is a sample page where I am trying to add some script code in the head: https://computing4all.com/courses/introductory-data-science/lessons/objects-and-features-of-a-data-table/
Is there a way I can call the Embed Code functions from the functions.php file of the Child theme I have?
]]>Hi
Ok – all this js is new to me…but I am trying to use some code from a js library that adds a combination lock to a post.
I have followed all the directions…but all it seems to do is show the code on the page and not run the code.
What am I doing wrong (cause no doubt its me and not the plugin! )

]]>Hi,
I am building a child theme to Storefront, and I have activated Embed Code. But Typekit fonts don’t load as I wrote styles for those fonts in css.
Seems like the new Gutenberg .css loads after every other css in the theme – maybe that’s the trouble?
Do you have any clue why Typekit fonts ain’t working?
Thanks.
]]>This plugin works great on my single installation site, thanks!
Out of curiosity, how would this plugin work ok on a multisite installation?
Ideally I’d be looking to network activate the plugin (so it doesn’t need to be activated on each subsite) but only have the codes track on each individual subsite, so there’s no globally shared codes.
]]>It would be handy to have a feature that allows the code to be treated in “sections”, each of which can be toggled on or off, or possibly allocated to certain pages.
This saves the inconvenience of dealing with cut and paste tasks, using an external text file, for switching codes on or off.
The toggle system would also allow alternative codes for similar tasks to be compared.
