I come to this plugin through Google, used it on my post for infographic.

I love to use this plugin for embed code generation of my infographic but, i have few problems with this.

1. I can’t increase the textarea box height
2. I dont want it to include few of CSS classes for links and images which are set into my theme
3. I want to remove Title of the text area created by plugin by default

Please help to customize this plugin according to me.

Hello, I have two websites. Site1 and site2. I can not allow registration on site1 due to hacking. So I have installed wp on site2 and wise chat plugin. Now I want to add chat on a page of site1. That is why I want to create embed code fore a page of site2 and I will place that embed code on site1. By this way user will register on site2 and can chat on site1 too. How is it possible?

I just created a credit card relief infographic. My problem is that every time I use a WordPress plugin I end up getting some problems on my site, plugins always seem to lead to problems. Everyone I talk to says that I need to use a plugin to create an embed code, but again I am trying to avoid this route. You can see the infographic is already live, but with no embed code for users to use if they want to share it. What do you recommend I do to make an embed code available for people who want to use my infographic on their site. If there is no other option besides using a plugin, what is the best and safest plugin option that you recommend for WordPress?

We wish to allow people to share our post content, but 100% of the post not only images. Is this possible ? Can we generate an entire post content “embed code” with all image(s), text, links etc ?

If not at the moment with your plugin, any ideas how to do it?

Is it possible to change the position of the embed code. Is it possible to, let’s say if I would like to move it to the middle of the page as a short code? Or underneath most important content of the page etc.

The plug in works beautifully, except, there isn’t a field which permits me to direct the embedded content to open the image in a new window. For instance, we are using this code generator to make it easy for our members to embed member badges. If and when clicked, the badge should open a new window to our site, rather than take our members’ visitors away from their own site. When I use this plug-in, it generates the ’embed code’ (only one per post though — I’ll have to make one post for every variation of a badge we have, which is quite a few), there is no field to select “target blank” and alas, looking at the code view, there is no embed code I can manually update to add >> target=”_blank” << to the destination URL. Any suggestions or ideas?

The embed code generator is auto creating an embed code for every graphic on my website even if I leave it blank.

Worst part is, it auto fills all of the assets on the website even the Main landing page with the code used in the last created embed code.

I had to deactivate it twice. Sadly, there are no other options available yet.

Hi there

I have an issue that when I click in the embed box, all the text disappears. Even if I ctrl a, ctrl c, nothing is selected, or copied.
Any idea on how to possibly resolve this?

I have a Related Posts plugin with ratings box that is in the sidebar of the actual post (a column effect) but when I use the embed plugin, it pulls the sidebar all the way to the bottom of the post. Is there a way to fix this?

I do not have a published post for viewing yet, as this is a work site for a large corporation. They do not want a bug like this published. Sorry =/

Is there any way to have “embed code” as sharing option after the post…

So when visitors embed the code to theit website they get iframe with the post loaded, just like media etc…

Hello,

First of all, good job on this plugin. It does exactly what I want it to do, but it seems like it’s lacking some functionality (or perhaps I’m just missing something!).

Why does Embed Code Generator add the code at the bottom of a page? Is there a shortcode or option that allows me to move it wherever I want? And is it possible to add multiple codes on one page?

Hello,

I just started using the Embed Code Generator plugin and I noticed that when someone hover the mouse over the embed box, a red “forbidden action” icon appears.

I found out that the Twitter Bootstrap for WordPress plugin I use on my blog is responsible for this. I deactivated it and the red icon disappeared. But I don’t want to keep it deactivated.

Is there a way to get the embed code meta form to appear on the edit page for custom post types? I would like to be able to allow bloggers to copy the embed code for my Products (a custom post type).
