Maybe this plugin worked well once, but now it breaks some WooCommerce emails (i.e. not sending ‘New order’ emails). Last update was 5 years ago, so it seems abandoned.

Works. I am using it with WP5.0 and WooCommerce Version 3.5.2. I took comfort from the fact that the plugin author works at Automattic – so I trusted it would work OK. It’s one of those plugins that makes you wonder why it has even to be in a plugin rather than accessible out of the box in WooCommerce. That said, it works and I’m happy.

This allows for editing in the frontend, which is nice, but it totally broke my templates. I had to copy over the out-of-the-box woocommerce templates INTO the frontend template editor that this plugin creates, which works, but isn’t what this plugin promises to do.

It blocks all the emails that are manually sent from the “order” section of woocommerce.

I’m currently working on my email template and started to edit Woocommerce emails. I changed all of the layouts of my emails. It is almost complete except for the text then I found this plugin. Tried to install and activate but it doesn’t inform me that my current tempalte will be overridden. All of my hardwork to edit the layout is gone without any backup created by this plugin. What a total mess.

At the moment 28.02.18 ; the plugin is still not sending the email : new account to customers ; disable the plugin when you are finished with the custom text to make it work.
Could benefit of the support of woocommerce subscriptions emails.
Otherwise it’s easy to use, and it’s really useful (especially to change the title and header of custom emails.)

Beware! Do not use this plugin if you have a translation file. Our translations are now not being used and have defaulted to English. After uninstalling and deleting this plugin, we still cannot fix it. The translation file is in the correct location to override the standard woocommerce file, but it is no longer being accessed. This plugin seems to have screwed up the locations. An absolute nightmare!
