I applied the shortcode to this page – https://www.whatcomlocallaw.com/whatcom-county-attorney-directory-3/
I then ran a program named Email Extractor against that page. It picked up each of the email addresses on the page and dropped a message where there was no email address which said “You have not entered an email address for this shortcode.”
Suggestions?
As title – I’m using your plugin to obfuscate telephone numbers using linkable=”0″, which is working fine, but it’s also making them impossible to click in a smartphone to call directly.
Any thoughts?

Hi
The shortcode works fine when using it on a post or page, but it doesn’t on the footer’s widget.
It shows the shortcut itself as a plain text.
thank you
Is it possible to use Email Obfuscate Shortcode and still maintain a click-to-call link?
I am testing this plugin, and it hides the email address in a link text. But the link still has the email address in the mailto: href attribute. So surely a simple regex searching the page for any mailto links will still pick up on this email address?
The plugin works, but does not respect the carriage returns via the default wp editor.
When i use the shortcode it puts all my text into one line rather than separate lines as it should be.
I tried adding
but that add a whole line space.
Please fix.
Recently, I’ve started getting a syntax error with the plugin. Below is the javascript code generated. I am not sure how the following line can be correct:
toAppend+=String.fromCharCode(t[i]+t[i-1]);
Thanks for any insight.

After using [email-obfuscate email=”[email protected]”] in one of my articles I noticed my RSS feed was no longer working. Here is the error info from Chrome:

Can I use Email Obfuscate Shortcode to hide this email?

Send a Text

When I highlighted the post with the “obfuscated” email address, right clicked and clicked “View Selection source” from the context menu, I saw the mailto tag with the supposedly “obfuscated” email address in plain view. This plugin appears to me to not work at all.
Do you have any words of wisdom?
What would I need to put in to change the color of the link I’m creating with the short code? It’s defaulting to a theme color but I wanted a different one. Thank you –
How would I link text other than the email address? Example: how would I use the shortcode to replace this?
Thanks!
I just noticed this – the mailto: link is fine, but the link has an extra space on the end – checked in Firefox and IE10.
It looks like this:
[email protected] .
(Hmmm, the formatting here hides the extended underlining, the code looks like this – note the space at the end).
[email protected] .
Instead of this:
[email protected].
[email protected].
I have had a look at the code, but it is beyond my simple skills.
