I am using the Post Type Grid element to show blog posts on my site’s homepage. It seems the “Length (words)” setting for the content does not have any effect, regardless of the number I put there (between 30 and 50), the post content is always cut after ~ 20 words.

What am I missing?

When I run a page speed test using GTMetrix, I get a 0 Fail for not serving scaled images. I traced it down to the image resizing done by the Post Type Grid widget. I like how this widget looks for my site, but I don’t like that it gives me this error.

In a thread for a different plugin that had the same problem, it appears that’s something they can fix, possibly related to the fact that the height alone is adjusted via CSS. Is there a way to address this?

I do like this plugin, but I also want to address slow page load problems.

I used this plugin to make grids on my website, but the problem i am facing is whenever i tried to edit a page or post with elementor it stucks. I mean elementor becomes busy, i can’t access the side bar of it.
The when i disable this plugin and try it again it works just fine. So i think your plugin has some compatibility issue with elementor.

I love the EAW Elementor post by category, however I end up having a design issue. It shows me each post on one row. As I have many this is annoying. It should fill up the rows (best about 3 posts per line).

How can I fix this? My template is set to full width (Neve) and page is edited by Elementor.

I’m not technical but using EAW elementor recent post widget with neve theme. Looks good on desktop but widget just squishes tablet and mobile appearance instead of stacking columns. How do I correct it?

When I use order by date in the preview the posts show up correctly.

I have a bilingual Hebrew-English website. The page I gave URL to is the English blog, which is made with your post list.
I use Elementor + Astra (free). I use WPML to translate.
In the blog, there is the date stated underneath the title.
Somewhere in the Strings to be translated, the “at date” (I think) turned into “? date”. Works beautifully in Hebrew. But also appears the same in English.
I cannot locate the string itself which is wrongly translated.
Please point me to the correct string, if you can.
If not, please point me to the file in the plugin where the meta info is defined, so I can locate the string.
Perhaps, it uses a string defined elsewhere. I just don’t know where and how to locate it.

I was testing your plugin and one of the things I came across was that in a ‘Products’ post type, with a category set, with ‘grid’ style and order = ‘rand’ that “Protected” posts, which also had category visibility = “hidden” were displayed in the grid.

Is there a way to prevent hidden and/or protected posts/CPT’s from displaying?

Hi, I am wanting to offset the post grid to not show the first few posts (as I have featured these).

So instead of showing the first 3 latest posts, I want to skip the first 3 posts, and show from post 4.

Is there a way of doing this?

I have a website redesigning, still in test, Elementor and Astra (free), bilingual (Hebrew and English).
The whole design of the website is alternating right-left and with two main colors.
I read about how to make alternating CSS for posts in the post loop and added a function for adding “odd” and “even” class for posts, using this article:

I am trying to use your Post Type Grid widget with only partial success.
I can see in the plugin files that the widget does use “post_class” in its loop, but, somehow, it completely ignores the addition of “odd” and “even” class”.
Why is that and how can I make it work?
I am really not asking you to add odd/even functionality to your plugin. Just to make it possible to simply add it if one can and wants to. Right now, something in the loop in the plugin ignores this addition, and it shouldn’t.

I was getting a “is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500” page after I updated Elementor on my wordpress dashboard, by deleting Elementor Addons & Templates – Sizzify Lite plugin I was able to get my site back up again. It seems that the plugin is not compatible with the new Elementor update, can you please update this great plugin? Thank you in advance.
