Which API key? The public or secret?
I have tried both and am getting Expected status code in (200-299) got 401.
I’d appreciate some help.

I can’t confirm this… but for the time being we have not updated our license add-on for EDD. But I noticed that when you issued an update for EDD Mobile, the notification for the license add-on went away. I think there is a chance that there is a conflict of some sort there.
