Hi, My Christmas cards are no longer able to be sent out. When I do t the test – on the settigs page – I l get a list of fatal errors. “Fatal error: Uncaught Error: [] operator not supported for strings in …”
The list of erros – indicate multiple file failures – including on ecards-lite / page-options.php.
Is there an update to the plugin taht I need to make it work. I’m only using it once a year – at Christmas – so didn’t realise ti wasn’t working until now.

]]>Hello! I am trying to set up the ecards plugin. I want to create 20 single ecards that will appear on separate pages on the website I am creating. The ecards are looking as expected, the email looks very nice as well. I have created 5 so far, in 5 separate posts with 5 different ids. [ecard id=””]. The problem is when I try to send an ecard I get the same email 5 times. When I had 4 cards, I got 4 emails. So the number of cards I create, seems to be linked to the number of emails I get. Is there a way to fix this issue?

]]>I have upgraded to 4.2.3 and now I find that the embedded cad in the email does not display with ‘download pictures’. However if you click on the source link, it does show the card on the browser.

If I enter the [ecard] shortcode in a PARAGRAPH tag, then the width of the cards display fills the container.
If I enter the [ecard] shortcode in a SHORTCODE tag, then the width of the cards display is only 2 columns.

ok, it started completely new and it works so far.
But in the email I have the image doubled.
It does not work with watermarked images. When I receive an ecard, the image is not shown (it’s only a white space) because there is “?v=1618426224” at the end of the image-link.
The noreply-mail does not work (its always [email protected]).
And (for example) the [name] in the message does not work.

I see that users can add their own message, but I’d like to have the card pop up with that part filled out with a message I wrote. The user could then delete that message or add to it. Is that possible?

I tried:
1. Drag and drop to change the order in media library
2. Use image ID (i.e. post ID of the media) in the shortcode

However, none of above work. Did I miss anything? Please advise.

]]>The page looks fine…but when the email is sent, the image, which is a thumbnail is HUGE as is the text underneath…the message that is sent is at the top.the sender at the bottom…and the following link shows under the distorted image and text in the email:

Hello, i bought the Pro Version of this plugin last week and tried to install it on our WordPress Site but when i activated it i got this error message:
The plugin generated 173 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
When i then tried to access settings i got this:
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.
So i now did a complete new install of the latest WordPress 4.9.8 and just installed the plugin there and it is exactly the same.
Please help! We want to use this plugin to send xmas cards! (For this year!)

]]>The plugin was working perfectly, until last upgrade (to 4.1.1). I tried to add the shortcode to my ecards pages, but when i updated it, and it takes me to
HTTP ERROR 500. So I deactivated the plugin, and the page was OK again. So, what should I do?… I really need this plugin.

There is no file ecards.php, only ecards-lite.php.

It is neccessary to include a link to the site for the recipient of the ecard so they can find out more/send their own postcard!
It does makes sense that html is not allowed in ecard message field that visitor has access to, however.

2. how to show this message under the button after sending?
I just updated this plugin only to find that I need to update the plugin again. I have looked and you have two files in the plugin directory which contain version numbers:
ecards.php
ecards-lite.php
ecards-lite.php has the updated version of 3.7.0. However, ecards.php contains the version number of 3.6.1.
Both files are main plugin files. Both contain descriptions and both call themselves eCards Lite. Both files show up in the dashboard, plugins area as separate plugins.
Please remove one of the files or remove the information causing the issue.

One more question, according to installation instruction mentioned on the plugin page:
“4.A new eCards menu will appear in WordPress with options, and general help”
There is no eCards menu on my WP dashboard. eCards appears once under Settings.
