I have a problem.
The ebook archive page of your ebooks store is limited to 5 posts/records PER PAGE… and it does not follow the # post reading rule that is under => wordpress dashboard / settings / reading

All my other archive pages follow that rule. But your software, no.
When I buy your software, will it be working back normally ?
if not, how can I get rid of this limitation ?

everything works well, but after you pay with Paypal, just the site “Waiting for order confirmation, this might take a minute, screen will refresh automatically!” is shown and refreshing frequently , but nothing more happens. So there is no download offered or anything. What could be the problem?

I just installed the free version of ebook store and when I came to add my books to my page, I had a critical error notice saying Ebook Store is causing it. I’ve deleted the plugin for now, but is there an quick and easy fix for this? Cheers.

?It’s been a few weeks since I purchased the EbookStore plugin, and since then I haven’t been able to get it to work. I made the settings, created the products in both the plugin and woocommerce, and linked the two. And even so, when someone buys the product, it doesn’t come with an access password or a watermark. I would like your help to resolve the problem.

I just bought the developer version of the plugin and put my paypal email address as the licence key.

I get “Thank you for choosing the full version of Ebook Store!” message in the beginning, but I cannot see the stripe tab.

Is there something I might be missing?

I bought the business version of the plugin and I would like to use only Stripe as the payment method.

Once the development environment set up, I tried to proceed to the checkout in test mode but an alert pop out displaying The currency that you have provided is invalid.

I then checked out the console logs and I noticed the currency option of the opts object is empty.

Can you help me out? ??

When I go to Ebook store/settings/PDF-protector and Buyer info text, this text doesn’t display the correct characters when the characters has an accent on it, for example :é, à, ?, etc. (French letters). Anything we can do about this?

Since I update to php>8 problem with my theme goodlayer clever course: I can’t edit pages. Th ebook store create a misfunction and cause a conflict!

But If I bypass the line in the ebook_store.php //add_action(‘add_meta_boxes’, ‘ebook_add_custom_meta_boxes’);

It’s ok but don’t know if this line is important or to why it serves??!!

I just began using the plugin and can’t figure out how to fix this issue. Where my ebook is placed, if you click on Details, the title remains on top of the details so you can’t see the details well. Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere to fix this?

Hello, after updating our server to PHP8 we find we were unable to edit https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ WYSIWYG editors. We ruled out a theme issue and disabled plugins until we found it was Ebook store causing the problem.

Is this something you could help with?

I have entered my ebooks into my Woocommerce shop but they are being charged shipping costs at checkout. How can I remove this charge for the ebooks only?

I have purchased the upgrade version of the WordPress Ebook Plugin to enable me to upload epub files. To integrate this with my WooCommerce plugin I followed the instructions in my email which says just add your Paypal email in the settings area of the plugin.
However, WooCommerce won’t allow me to upload my epub files.
The size is well below the maximum allowed but it just says I’m not allowed to upload thie type of file.

If I unintegrate, I can upload from the WordPress Ebook Plugin no problems. Not ideal at all.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

has anyone had an issue with the pdf download link and a critical error?

Purchasing through WooCommerce works ok but as soon as a customer tries to download the pdf the site crashes.

when customers order a book he will be only previewing that book and if they want to download that book then they get paid an extra amount then they will get a download link. Is this possible?

I get an error message at the bottom of the screen and I just payed for premium can I please get some help?

I have a critical error when viewing the downloads page. I’m using WooCommerce 6.3.1 and WordPress 5.9.2.

It’s definitely this plugin as disabling it removes the error.

Is there any chance of an update to fix this?

first of all, I really appreciate this plugin, it let me set up an ebook store very fast.

Before I buy the premium, I would like to add that I needed to put the automatically created page, which you can choose to create from the dashboard, “My Ebook Orders” on draft status, because if I set it as a page with a menu link or submenu link attached to “my account” etc. the last order of the last customer became visible including download link, so basically anybody could see the last order performed in the shop. I have not yet set up user registration, but I wanted to add that if you do not allow user registration, it shows the last order TO EVERYONE! including the download option.

This needs to be fixed, as it was a very rude awakening for me to see the last order by a customer publically available including download link.

Please fix this asap, I guess if you enable user registration, it only shows logged in users their last orders, as it is supposed to be for customers. Anything else is devastating for every ebook store.

Just purchased the PRO version. I try to make a purchase and select “add to cart”, nothing show in the cart (see url below with figure circled in #1); description of item added to cart is wrong, it says “sample instead of the title of my eBook” has been added to your cart (see url below with figure circled in #2 & #3).

We are testing out the free eBook Store and have several questions:

1. on the DETAILS section, see it at: https://thewordismylifewp.cloudaccess.host/wp-content/uploads/details.png, can the ‘buy button” move further down? also, can the ‘title of the book, date and or number of pages (took date & pages out due to all jumble up)’ can it move down lower or change the font smaller?

2. While purchasing eBook from my site as a customer, from the email that I received, when I click on the ‘download’ link, it didn’t prompt me to enter password.

We plan to upgrade to PHP 8, so we tested our WordPress site with PHP 8, and we got the following warning related to your Ebook Store plugin:

Deprecated: Required parameter $val follows optional parameter $key in /home/tecnicas/public_html/wlmtesting.verdadera-seduccion.com/wp-content/plugins/ebook-store/functions.php on line 1854

That line’s content is:

function ebook_get_order($key = 'ebook_key',$val) {

And the problem is solved by turning it into:

function ebook_get_order($key,$val) {

which I believe to be safe, as we saw all calls to that function pass ‘ebook_key’ as the first parameter anyway.

Is there any way to create a list of all authors for display on page along with option to add intro/profile photos. and when user click on their photo it should redirect to the all books by that author?

1st requirement – i want to create a page where ebook Author/Publisher name listed so if one click on its name it should display all books by him/her.

2nd requirement – another case if someone clicks on author link on book it should show that page where all his books are listed ready to buy.
any shortcode i can use?

My problem: The stripe tab didn’t appear.
Then I tried to install woocommerce and setup my products.
Still not having options for entering stripe credentials.

I have some few problems with getting this plugin work proper. I use woo as payment gateway. After a successful payment the customer are able to download the book from the bottom at the return page. That is in basic what’s working.
1) The customer is reciving the conformation email , but the email contain only the form template and not the dynamic content.
2) it should be auto created and account in WP for each customer buying the book. That is not working.
3) All new orders should be listed under “Orders” in Ebook store. Not working
4) QR code: is added to each page in the book, but does not contain any information.

Would appreciate some help.
