I expected the image for each item to be displayed. Is this an error?
]]>I read this – https://www.winwar.co.uk/2018/09/how-to-set-up-ebay-feeds-for-wordpress/?utm_source=installation&utm_medium=wordpressorgreadme&utm_campaign=ebayfeedsforwordpress – but I don’t want to give away a percentage to a middle for selling my own products.
Is there a more straightforward/cheaper way to list my own ebay products?
]]>Hello, is my feed correct? because it is not displayed. I don’t see how to do better with rssground
[[ebayfeedsforwordpress feed=”https://www.rssground.com/services/ebay-rss/640325bf477ce” items=”15″]]
Thank you
]]>Hi, I’m considering using the free RSS Ground plan with this plugin but from reading their website, it looks like the free plan only lasts for six months…unless I’m mistaken? I just want to generate one private feed and then insert a generic default shortcode via this plugin into multiple posts on my website but change the ‘keywords’ slightly on each different page so they show different results specific to each different page. Is that possible to do without having to buy a premium product? Or if RSS Ground make you upgrade after six months of using the free plan, is there a free alternative I can use with this plugin?
]]>I was using the free version of the plugin and just upgraded to the paid version. Installed the new plug in, deactivated old plugin, and now my pages will not show when add the ebay search to my page.
]]>I just went to this page and the eBay feed did not show up. I close the tab, logged in to wordpress to make sure the feed was on that page, and it was. Then i went back to the page and the feed was visible.
]]>I signed up for RSS Ground like suggested and I have no idea how to make this work. RSS Ground seems super confusing and after setting up an EBay search, I have no idea how to get an RSS feed for this plugin. Is there a how-to somewhere?
]]>Is this plug in still working? I can see feeds I made a while ago still appear and track but I can’t add any new feeds.
]]>Hi, been trying to find a replacement for Phpbay Pro for ages. Is this plugin still working with ebay partner network to create custom page feeds on a wordpress page please?
I really hope so.
Thanks Ray
]]>The product thumbnail image size is 140(W)x105(H). Is there a way to make it bigger?
Thanks!
]]>Awesome plugin – I am using it with the auction request.com feeds. It is working perfectly for me on Laptop/Desktop Browsers: safari and chrome but not on my iOS device: safari and chrome.
Is this not mobile supported or is there something you can help me troubleshoot?
]]>Hello and thank you for this great plugin. A few of questions.
1. Is it possible to filter ebay items shown in the feed to a distance or region. For example if I wanted to show listings within a distance of London.
2. Can listings be sorted by their ending time (ending soonest first)?
3. Filter items based on number of bids, watchers, sold items etc.?
Thank you and best of health.
Mike
]]>eBay sent out an E-mail just today (June 3, 2020) declaring the following:
“At the end of June, the Dynamic Feed Generator will be globally decommissioned, and we ask that you move off of it completely no later than June 30. We will not be replacing the Feed Generator …”
Does this, then, signify the end of the WP eBay Product Feeds plugin, since we won’t be able to generate the required eBay data from eBay’s Dynamic Feed Generator any longer to use in the plugin?
Frankly, the Dynamic Feed Generator has been the only eBay advertising tool of theirs that I use or have any interest in. Why in blazes would they be bringing it to an end?
]]>Hi, I am looking for a replacement to the old Phpbaypro plugin which is sadly no longer supported. Does the plugin support pagination? I want to display 10 items at a time on individual numbered pages instead of a list of 100 items right down the page.
Happy to buy the premium version if it does what I need.
Thanks
]]>I have updated a feed but an old feed still shows – a Pentax camera feed.
The feed should be for Olympus cameras – here is the rss feed
In settings, I chose the no-cache option too.
]]>Hi,
When you visit our website by clicking the ‘Visit our Website’ link in our eBay listings (classified ads) the feed shows up but the links do not work.
The listing title link takes the user to a blank page and the ‘Add to watch list’ link asks the user to sign in (and has a Java Script alert pop up) or pops up with a http error.
I’ve included a short video so you can see what I’m talking about.
Any idea on how to get these links to work?
If we could force the links to open in a separate browser window, that would be ideal. Is there a way to do that?
Kind regards,
Ash
]]>I tried adding the following feed to the site as a test https://rest.ebay.com/epn/v1/find/item.rss?keyword=TV&sortOrder=BestMatch&programid=15&campaignid=5338636280&toolid=10039&listingType1=All&feedType=rss&lgeo=1
sadly nothing happens when i turn on debug nothing comes up too.
Can you help please?
]]>Hello Rhys,
Could you please check that the ‘Fallback Text’ feature is working correctly, where no items are returned from the RSS feed. I can’t get the text to display.
I’ve checked the page’s HTML using the Firefox Web Developer Inspector and classes ebayfeedtitle / ebayfeedlink don’t show any text where the Fallback Text should be.
Plugin version: 2.4.3
Many thanks,
Peter Young
Hello Rhys,
I’m just writing to inform you that Ebay have changed the form for creating the RSS feed, and your instructions document will therefore need to be updated.
Doc…
https://www.winwar.co.uk/2018/09/how-to-set-up-ebay-feeds-for-wordpress/
The doc heading “Generate the eBay Feed” has the sentence “Head to Tools, and then head to RSS feed”. This should now read “Head to Tools, and then head to Dynamic Feed Generator”.
Thank you,
Peter Young
I can′t click on templates to edit that.
]]>The dedicated ebay button has mysteriously disappeared from my Toolbar
This seems to have happened since the change of name which seems very strange
Could you please show me how I can restore this.
Thank you

Hi, the images have vanished from my feed today for some reason. I’ve linked to an example page. Any ideas? Thanks
]]>Hello Rhys,
I’ve examined the WP eBay Product Feeds listings page using the Google Structured Data Testing Tool. The Ebay listed items don’t appear to be identified as products by the tool within the schema output. Is this something that the plugin may support in the future?
Thank you,
Peter Young
I tried the plugin and set the items for 100 and got only one. This does not work for the latest version of wordpress apparently. I got my ebay feed from ebay of course and it showed me 100 items. It’s back to the drawing board for me.
]]>I’ve been adding the “[ebayfeedsforwordpress feed=”https://rest.ebay.com/epn…” code within posts where I want ebay listings to appear. It doesn’t work when adding it to a php file. So what code can I add to my single.php file so that the ebay listings appear in each post?
]]>Hi
I am getting strange thumbnails in any feed I create. As you will see from the linked page it is showing wallpaper with a black hanging picture or board. The link goes through to the correct listing on ebay but ebay does not have the same thumbnail. I posted a week or so ago that these images were too big and were very ugly in the feed but you sorted that by giving me a snippet of code then you updated the plugin. However I still get these strange images
This is happening in every feed I create.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
I have been using eBay RSS Feeds for some time with great success. However suddenly newly generated feeds are not working.
You can see on the linked page that something strange is happening with some of the listings.
If I click through it takes me to the correct listing on eBay but it looks very ugly on my site.
I use chrome on Imac with up-to-date version
Any ideas
The Plugin was working fine and after upgrading to WordPress 5.0.3 its showing wrong feed.
]]>When I update the base plugin to 2.3 it then says the premium one needs updated to 2.3 (despite them both being 2.3)
Like wise, when I click update on the premium one, then the base one says it needs updated, and keeps on going like that
