Thank you.
P.S. I’m looking forward to your next release… still waiting for the ‘link to existing posts’ to be fixed… I know you’re doing thorough testing before releasing a major (Gutemberg compatible) upgrade, so I don’t mind waiting ??
The site is using Genesis Framework & Foodie Pro Child Theme. EasyRecipe Version 3.5.3251 is installed on it & when it is active the Customizer throws the following error:
domain_name is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
Get backs to normal & become accessible when deactivated.
Is it a known conflict with WP5 Branch?

]]>After upgrading to WordPress 5.0, the Easy Recipe button (the chef icon) that was usually next to the editor formatting buttons disappear. I REALLY need to have it back so I can post my recipe card for my recipes. This is insane. I also noticed when I went to Easy Recipe plugin and it was tested up to version 4.9.8. HELP!!!
]]>Hey there – we’ve got this plugin running on the Impreza theme which has a custom editor to create header elements on the site, and the EasyRecipe plugin is throwing a blocking JS error in that admin screen. We’ve used the plugin for awhile (50+ posts) with this theme with no issues so this is new from one of the last updates.
Screenshots of errors:

Any info is helpful – we don’t want to have to remove this plugin to edit the header.
]]>I tried a few recipes in Gutenberg this morning and ran into some issues with Easy Recipe. If I edit a post with a recipe on it (I was editing text outside of the recipe), each line of the recipe and instructions were then duplicated (i.e. appear twice) when I updated the post. To fix this I had to disable Gutenberg, load the post in the original editor, and manually remove the duplicate lines.
Also, clicking on a recipe in Gutenberg does not bring up the Easy Recipe editor. Clicking ‘Add a recipe’ or ‘Edit a recipe’ does nothing.
I’m not sure when Gutenberg is going to be forced upon us but for now it appears that it and Easy Recipe don’t get along very well.
]]>Hi. Google Search Console has listed all of the Easy Recipes as having aggregateRating errors. What should I do to correct this? This is from the email I received today:
Fix Recipes markup for https://biomeonboardawareness.com/
Google systems show that your site is affected by 55 instances of Recipes markup issues. This means that your Recipes pages might not appear as rich results in Google Search.
Search Console has created a new report just for this rich result type. The new report enables you to identify, fix, and resubmit affected pages to Google so they can start appearing in Search Results with rich result features.
I searched the forum but found nothing on this. Thank you for your help. Patty
]]>Just paid for both EasyIndexPlus + EasyRecipe Plus. It was not cheap. Plugged in both licenses in the website and the new licenses do not work. Opened ticket number 4232 in the EasyRecipe website. Response was, ticket is being processed. I noticed that I had an old ticket from last year and the status is, ticket is being processed. Can you please help? Thanks.
]]>Hello, my SEO guy wanted me to check to make sure that EasyRecipe is up to date with the new markups requested by google.
Google is now recommending the use of these four properties:
● recipeCategory
● recipeCuisine
● video
● Keywords
He also sent me this list. Are these updates being made or EasyRecipe? Thanks!
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/recipe
Dear Jayce53,
I’m checking the structured data of my recipes with the testing tool from google and I realized that there are some properties I can’t update using easyRecipe like keywords and video.
On the other hand, the ingredients aren’t show as property “recipeIngredient”, which is required to support the Google Assistant on Google Home.
Here is a link to the updated structured data properties for Google Assistant:
https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2018/05/send-your-recipes-to-google-assistant.html
It would be awesome if you can integrate these in EasyRecipe Plus.
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards
Jose
Dear @jayce53,
I have an issue using EasyRecipe with Thrive Architect. The content entered in wordpress editor is rendered by Architect and the styles are modified, so the recipes are displayed without the right formatting.
The Thrive support said that the issue is that EasyRecipe Plugin is not shortcode based and told me to ask you if EasyRecipe support shortcodes.
Thanks in advance for your reply!
Best regards
Jose
Dear @jayce53,
I am currently auditing my site and checking 3rd party compliance to the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect in May 2018.
Since I am using your plugin, I have a couple of questions regarding this topic:
– Is EasyRecipe setting cookies with personal information from visitors (like IP-address)?
– Is EasyRecipe collecting, storing and/or sending personal information from visitors (IP-address, etc.) locally and/or externally?
In case that you are storing/sending and/or processing visitors’ information:
– Are the IP addresses only stored anonymously, i.e. without the last octet?
– What are you doing with the stored information?
– Do you share the data with 3rd parties? If yes, have you concluded appropriate contracts with the subcontractors that commit the subcontractors equally to data protection?
– When will the user data stored by you (in particular cookies) be deleted?
– Do you offer opt-out options for users (if yes, how are they implemented)?
– Can you provide us with a Data Processing Agreement including technical and organisational protection measures as well as an overview of the subcontractual relationships for signature?
In case you operate in the US and you are storing/sending and/or processing visitors’ information:
– Do you offer legally recognised guarantees for the level of data protection (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses or Privacy Shield)?
Thanks in advance for your replay!
Best regards
Jose

I purchased this plugin about 2 years ago and since then have repeatedly tried to contact the developer to get the updates. No response. It can’t be updated through the dashboard either.
I’ve contacted WordPress to have this plugin removed because it is a scam to get people to purchase the upgrade to which there is no support or updates.
Please contact [email protected] via email and let them know they need to remove this plugin so no one else loses money.
]]>I have tried and tried to get a hold of support for the PREMIUM version of this plugin. Emails reply saying they’ll respond within 24 hours. One ticket has been open for 6 months. STill no response. Needing tickets filled for both tjstaste.com and measuringflower.com (bought it twice, should get my tickets answered).
]]>I’ve had issues with Easy Recipe Plus after upgrading to the paid version. I have submitted two support tickets to their website over the last several months and have never heard back. Is there anyone who can speak to whether these guys are still in business or not? Does WordPress have a department that monitors for plugins that may have become defunct on behalf of WordPress users? It seems like we are on our own in situations like this.

Thank you!
