I have a Persian site and swipbox only show first slide. first navigation is right button but first slide is left slide. so when click to next slide on behind navigation button or next button dont show anything and show black image.

The plugin doesn’t look to work with with Youtube videos (embedded in the content body field).

I get a dark screen with a spinning icon and a “Cross-Origin Read Blocking (CORB) blocked cross-origin response” error in Chrome.

The plugin easy SwipeBox seems to not work with the last version of wordpress (5.6) it could be about the new version of jquery.

Hey, I have a major problem with my page. Anywhere I click on my page, a random pop-up gets shown all over the screen. Please try it for yourself. I clicked F12 and inspected the pop-up and I guess it has something to with a thing called “swipebox” or “swipebox-html”. I haven’t changed anything on my page, except of the updated WordPress version. I already uploaded a backup and tried it again, but the pop-up still gets shown. I would be great if somebody could help me, because I am by no means a programmer. Does it have anything to do with a plugin or what could it be? If you need additional information, I would be glad to provide you with it. Thank you very much.

Can you please shift the arrows on the left and right side of the image, and the arrows should only appear on MOUSE HOVER. As of now the arrows are hiding the image and Vanish on MOUSE CLICK. So please help me do this as per the given image.

i have worked a bit with your plugin and tested a function that i wanted to achieve: closing the lightbox on clicking outside the img.
In other plugins using the “siwpebox” this following functions works perfectly. This is the JS i am working with:

My goal is to use custom icons in the lightbox displa for X < and >.

A designer provided png version of icons. I placed a icons.png in the public/img directory and unchecked the Use SVG Icons box in the WordPress Easy Swipe Box plug-in settings page.

However, the lightbox display is still using the svg image.

I then set the plug-in to debug mode and did some checking in the jquery.swipebox.js file and found that plugin.settings.useSVG is true at line 172 eventhough the Use SVG icons check box. is unchecked. (The value for useSVG is 0 in easySwipeBox_lightbox option in wp database)

So there may be a bug somewhere in the javascript that is ignoring the use SVG plug-in setting.

Hello, I love this plugin and how it looks.

Is there a way to keep the navigation and title from hiding? I set the “hide bars” to 5 minutes but it only stays on a few seconds and then hides. And I finally figured out that the only way to display the navigation again is you have to click on the image.

If that is not possible, can it be done so that instead of having to click to activate the navigation, can it be on hover?

Hello! I like this plugin so far, but am having difficulty on iPhone vertical orientation.
The left/right arrows do not advance the image, they just disappear when you click to advance. I’ve tried several different settings.
I would just opt to remove the navigation from mobile but the Client’s viewers will need to use the left/right arrows as visual cues for navigating through the gallery.

The plugin has been great until recently, when it stopped working on mobile.

All I see when I click on an image is a black screen, and hitting the ‘close’ X icon won’t close it to bring me back to the page/post.

The only way to get out of it is to hit the back button on the browser or close the entire tab. This makes for really poor functionality and user experience!

Another quick question.

We are using King Composer as a visual editor and it includes by default prettyPhoto (which is a lot worse than SwipeBox :). I have already raised the same question in the KC forum but wanted to launch it here also.

Is it possible to let swipebox take over the images included with the King Composer editor?

The code generated by KC is:

As you can see, “swipebox” is included in the tag but the rel=”prettyPhoto” seems to take the upper hand.

Great Lightbox! I’ve tried a lot and this one is really what we needed, no nonsense, biggest pictures possible and fast. Great work!

It would be perfect (for us) if a mouse click on the image (on a pc) would also make the lightbox go to the next image.

Would this be possible?

Hello, I am trying to change my default theme fancybox with swipebox and I have a weird problem. My portfolio page is working with scroll-loading and first amount of loaded photos is 9. Everything seems working until I scroll. Then is Fancybox back. First nine photos is ok and scrolled photos are opening with fancybox. Any advice?

I’ve been having a hard time figuring out how to restyle the left/right navigational arrows so that they don’t hide at all and they remain in the horizontal center of the page instead of the bottom. I feel like it’s difficult for people to see them while they’re moving through the gallery. Any advice?

I’m testing it right now and I’m loving it.
The only thing I think it’s missing, it’s a text that shows the number of pics the user is browsing, something like this:
3/15
meaning, the user is viewing the third image from a total of 15.

Would it be possible to add something like that?

I purchased a theme from envato that uses woocommerce and prettyPhoto lightbox for images. I was able to change where it calls for “prettyPhoto” to “swipebox”. But there’s no image in the swipebox. I checked the source code and the “slide-current” div isn’t even being created. It just skips to the “top-bar” div.

I’m assuming there is a conflict with prettyPhoto. Do I have to go into the theme and remove every mention of prettyPhoto or is there an easier way to get it working?

thank you for a great plugin, I’ve been using it for a few months without problem. Last week I noticed that my theme was broken, so I desactivated plugins one by one and the conflict seems to be with Easy Swipebox. I don’t know when the problem started, so I can’t say what triggered it.

I took a screenshot of the issue, it happens even when not using a child theme and with all other plugins desactivated.

All of a suddon Swipebox is “hijacking” my page links. Haven’t changed anything on my Wordpess installation. Yesterday everything was still fine, but today most page links from the main menu seem to be falsely identified as media links and will be opened in a blank sipebox instead.

I just embedded some videos using wordpress [embed] youtube video link[/embed]

It’s not going into a lightbox but just playing on the page.

Does this work with embeds or am I doing something wrong?
