Hello,
Will you be updating this plugin to be compatible with WordPress 4.2.2?
]]>Hi.
I’m having trouble when using the “Manually call the retweet button” option.
When someone hits retweet on my blog the retweet text isn’t shared, instead I get the variable name: $custom_retweet_text
Any ideas? I have set custom text to the post.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
I have installed your plugin on the network admin page of our multi-site WP. I “Network Activated” it and it does not appear on any of the individual sites’ plugin admin panels. There is also no link to the settings.
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks!
]]>Hi Sudar,
Occasionally our tweet-count won’t show up and links to bit.ly will be wrong (https://bit.ly instead of the full url ie https://bit.ly/xSjs etc). This only happens sporadically, then we get the count and correct links back.
I emailed bit.ly and discovered we’ve been hitting our API limit. They say this is most usually caused by scripts which create the links on page-load. They sent a link to their best practices doc here: https://code.google.com/p/bitly-api/wiki/ApiBestPractices
We don’t really get enough traffic to hit the API limit through volume of people retweeting, so I suspect it’s that on-page-load thing. Do you think there’s a quick way to change up your plugin so it’s not creating the bit.ly links each page-load? We’re using the template function to render the buttons.
Thanks so much for your help!
Michelle
