I dont like when i find a free to try plug in and the developer does not allow you to use it fully, in this case i was able to install it but could not modify the items, change some names of menus, so i could not test if this plug in is worth spending a dime!!!!!

not very convenient that the menu items can not be moved between categories and ID menu.

This is good plug-in that meets the needs as described. The documentation is a bit lean but the developers will get back to you if you are polite. Encourage and support the devs and provide constructive input. Paid version is reasonably priced and worth it.

Nice function for a free plugin, you’ll need to pay for the extended version to unlock certain features.

I’ve installed dozens of plugins for clients that they end up not using and email me for changes. My client actually will log in and update their menus using this plugin.
It didn’t look great in the theme they were using so I made modifications and now it looks perfect.

Unless you are comfortably knowledgeable in CSS, this plugin is not for you. Like other reviews, this plugin (and the paid version) just puts information on your webpage more neatly – something anyone can do for an extra 15-20 minutes. I purchased the extended version thinking it would be easier, and it sure wasn’t. With no support, it is very difficult to edit your pictures, fonts, colors, text, and alignment. Again, there is no support for this plugin, especially the PAID version. I ended up having to make my own menu in Microsoft Word, which although is a tad more tedious, I have more control and placement options, something this plugin and its paid version make difficult. However, if you’re CSS savvy and know coding well enough, then this should be a good plugin. But if you’re like other business owners who don’t have enough time to fully learn the ins and outs of web development, then stay away from this or hire someone else to make your menu.

The plugin is quite restricted and almost all actions require to buy extended version. Free version quite useless.

Don’t understand how a plugin could be released that doesn’t allow you to do something as simple as change the category of items amongst menus. It seems as if this plugin was not really well thought out. To tell someone that the only way to change an item to another category is to do it manually is horrible.
Additionally, to force someone to put every time in a category or “It won’t show on the site” really sucks!
Really guys!?

a total quality plugin!!

1. The plugin has just one sample menu.
2. You can edit that menu and replace it with your own menu items.
3. You can not create a new menu even though there is a button to do that but clicking on the button will show a popup that you need the extended version.
4. You can not add icons, you can not even delete the ones that come by default with the plugin.
5. The plugin is not very well designed, and if you have to add custom stylesheets for the menu then why not just create it with HTML and CSS on your own?
It does work and will allow you to show a restaurant menu but it is not a good way to do it.
I am not against paid plugins, I just feel that it is kind of rude to lure people into installing something and then ask them to pay up. I think this is kind of rude.
The description of the plugin is quite misleading for example it says
]]>Place restaurant menus anywhere with shortcodes

the free version is nice but hard to edit

I was really excited when I found this plugin. Unfortunately the plugin is so poorly designed and documented that it turned into a frustrating experience. They could have provided better instructions how to use and edit the menu. What’s the point of using a plug-in where features that a restaurant menu has to have are locked out? Why not giving a 14 day full feature trial? This plugin claims to be compatible up to wordpress 3.7.1 but it’s not working on my end (running 3.7.1)
I was planning to purchase this plugin after inital testing, but honestly I feel a good old pdf will be my choice until I find a better plug-in.

The function of the plugin has been well realized. It is difficult to understand the frontend design. Also as Webdesigner. The product list is not only unsightly but illogical and size of the images of the products can not be changed. The fact that the plugin uses its own database table, we find good.

This looked promising based on the feature description until I looked at the code. It creates its own database tables instead of working with WordPress’ custom post type, custom taxonomy, and custom field functionality.

Excellent application

Looks promising, but would be nice if they explicitly said that most of the features require an “extended” version that costs money in the home description. Couldn’t do a whole lot without the paid version. The free parts I could have written on my own in my wysiwyg editor.
Very disappointed.

Try it out and post suggestions for improving features. This plugin allows you to more easily manage a menu that looks natual in your theme, provide an RSS feed, and customize the look and feel.
Purchase the Extended Version which helps pay for continued development and support, and keep those feature requests coming!

I bought the premium plugin because the feature set seems great but I never could get it to work correctly. The two column layout never worked even after the upgrades. It breaks on all the themes that I have imported it to. Support was also terrible. Unfortunately I paid $25 dollars for the pleasure of a plugin that never worked. very disappointed!

I bought the extended version of the plugin and it does not give you an option to enter food items into the menu. I then uninstalled the plugin, installed the free version and them reinstalled the extended version and it did not work.
I’ve tried sending emails to the developers to resolve the problem, left them a voice mail in their corporate voice mail but no response.
The process to get your money is really nice and worry free. The process to get support is really horrible. The support forum is really a sleazy sales pitch to get you to but more products instead of solving problems.
I would stay away from this company.

Works ok, you can create 1 menu.. free, but no images can be inserted, no icons can be uploaded in free version. It costs $25 at the moment to get the “upgraded” version. I wonder why they show the thumbnails and nice images functionality in the screenshots if that is actually NOT included.. Wasted an hour testing this.. Now, I rather copy/paste from my MS word that has all the wistles and get the same thing using the post pages as they are.. so this is not a big deal.. I mean who would use this plugin? Certainly not a professional designer or a restaurant, so it’s kind of pointless, thanks for trying.

Another pay plugin that does not clearly state that you need to open your wallet in order to use it’s full potential.
Free version is just a tease and can’t be used to build menus.
You can only make one menu and multiple categories that will all be shown together. So, pretty much useless imo.
This is a plague that is going to eat WordPress eventually.
I urge developers to clearly state the nature of their plugins under description, coz thats what it is for.
Missleading people doesn’t make u trustworthy and therefor, even if your product has some quality, you won’t be selling as much as you probably would.
So please use codecanyon or any other service for payed plugins.
Describe what you offer for free and what needs to be payed for under descrtiption in here!
I’m sick of this…
