Hi Jason,
You kindly advised me once that I could change the display of pull quotes for mobile phones with this CSS code:
@media only screen and (max-width: 540px) {
.epq-pull-quote {
width: 100%;
}
}
It has worked for the last few years but now it doesn’t seem to work anymore (WP 5.7). Any idea how I could fix this?
Best,
Lunis
If I put a pull quote in a paragraph (say, in the begining) and a footnote at the very end of the same paragraph, there won’t be an empty line underneath that paragraph. See link.
However, if I wrap the quote with

; as in

[epq-quote align="align-right"]........[/epq-quote]

it works. Now there’s an empty line underneath the paragraph.
Could I somehow change the code of either EPQ or EF to always work like that, so I wouldn’t have to manually enter

everytime I use the pull quotes?
Ideally, I would like to fix this by changing the EF code because I have the same issue with the Simple Drop Cap plugin.

Lunis
Hi Jason,
First of all, great plugin…I’m so grateful for you making it available.
I’ve noticed when I use a semicolon in the middle of a quote, it cuts off the quote at that point when being tweeted. I suppose it’s interferring with the PHP in the background.
My simple resolution is to just use a different punctuation mark. However, with some quotes I’d love to be able to retain the semicolons. Any work-around for this?
Thanks, Jason!

Hi Jason!
I’m using EPQ together with the Print Friendly & PDF plugin. Problem is that the pull quotes appear as regular text when I open a post in the “Print Friendly”-view. Anyway to sort of hide the content from the Print Friendly & PDF plugin, so that it won’t figure in the print friendly view?
Or maybe I should ask the Print Friendly developers?

Hi! Great tool. Would it somehow be possible to, say, make the pull quotes left aligned in desktop view and center aligned in mobile view? Or set different quote sizes depending on the whether you view the homepage on a desktop or a mobile phone?
Kind regards.
Plug-in is great (would love short links & via @username features). However, folks who read my blog via RSS feeds see the pull quote twice. Any way to remedy that bug?
Hello,
Thank you for this great plugin !
The design is very elegant and it’s easy to use.
I’d like to use the bit.ly short link for posting the quote on twitter ?
What should I do ?
