Hello! I am trying to use the google font “Uchen” but its not found in the list of fonts loaded by your plugin. Can this font be supported or am I out of luck?

How does one use EGF with Twenty Twenty-Four or other Full Site Editing themes where the customizer is not available?

Will there be updates? Cause it seems to abandoned.

I changed paragraph font, works perfect, however for Headings when I change font, it only loses Bold style and nothing else changes.

May I kindly ask for a workaround? I just started working with WordPress, therefore I would need easy explanation.

Hello there,
I am using your plugin on a website, where Google Fonts are now locally installed. We have to do this here in Germany and Europe because of very strict privacy rules.
After installing all used Fonts locally and loading them via script in functions.php of child theme, still one font is loading from Google APIs and there is a preconnect in my html source code.
When deactivating Easy Google Fonts, then this code is removed, as it should be. But I need your plugin for the theme settings.

How can I remove the follwing code, which comes form Easy Google Fonts:

as of now (20/06/2022) Easy Google Fonts Plugin (v.2.0.4) is tested up to WordPress version 5.8.4 and hasn’t been updated for 11 months.
Will there be continued support for this very fine plugin? A quick yes/no would be all for our team to decide whether or not we need to look for a successor.

I use this plugin to change the font of my website.
The paragraph part works fine.
But header texts won’t change accordingly
(All types of headers, from h1 to h6, all don’t change.)
My steps for changing the font are as below: Customize->Typography->Default typography, where there are sections to change fonts separately for different part including paragraphs, header1 to header 6.
I found I can change the header font by going to Customize->Superbtheme typography-> Sitewide so that I can change the font globally.
However, in this way, the bold texts in my posts won’t be bold texts anymore.
I think it’s because this action overrides the bold text, all texts become to show in only one format.

Is there any way I can change the font of header texts while maintaining bold texts?

Easy Google Fonts seems to only be applying to Heading 1 and Paragraphs. I’m using a different font for each of these which it loads just fine. I want to use the same font for headings as I use for paragraphs, but Headings 2-6 just default to a browser standard whenever I try to make them match.
I’m afraid my knowledge of CSS is little to none so I was really hoping this would work! Let me know if there’s something I might have missed.

I’m seeing an odd problem when attempting to set a custom color for text/background in Customiser > Typography.

When I click on the checkered rectangle to set a custom colour, the popup color-picker displays briefly, but then the browser reloads the whole page to the Customiser main page, and any changes are lost.

Behaviour seems consistent across several themes (Exford, Twenty Twenty tested) and multiple browsers (Brave, Safari, FireFox, all current versions tested on MacOS).

On 2 sites I run that use Easy Google fonts, Avast anti-virus detects ‘Script:SNH-gen [Trj]’ in wp-content/plugins/easy-google-fonts/src/dist/preview.js

But … what about storing fonts on local host? Because of the DSGVO (GDPR in english) it is very important for german users.

Do you plan to embed this function? Otherwise many website owners can’t use your nice plugin for legal reasons.

Second: I’m missing font-display: swap. Please add this option for performance and SEO-reasons too. ??

I am trying to use the plugin for the Go theme built by GoDaddy.

I can get the plugin to work for all the headers but not for <p> elements, even using the font control feature.

I have heard that there is an issue with the default 202 theme as well. Is this some known issue? Or is there a workaround? I know how to program and I know HTML/CSS quite well so if I have to adjust something there that is not an issue.

Thanks for this plugin. I’m just giving it a quick try at the moment and am very impressed at how versatile it is. I don’t/won’t need help with CSS selectors as I am a theme developer. Being able to add CSS selectors is a great feature that enables me to customise the fonts for my own theme but it must drive you crazy getting confused requests about what CSS selectors to use! Give them enough rope…

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that the CSS selector does not persist after a save. The field under “Font Control CSS Selectors” is always empty.

Hi, the plugin is working perfectly! I was wondering if it’s possible to limit the number of choices (maybe 6) to help with page/site speed?

I have added open street map as a custom HTML block in twenty twenty one wordpress theme – in edit view mode it sits in the middle of the page nicely. However as soon as I am out of edit mode the map sits on the lhs of the page hugging the edge – can anyone tell me how to ensure it stays nicely in the middle of the page? thank you.

The settings ask for a valid Google API. I have a Google API key for Google Maps and tried to use that but nothing happened in the settings page–it didn’t save or say it was set. Is there a specific Google API that is needed and where do I get it from? There is no information about that in the YouTube demo or the Installation instructions.

The link in the Easy Google Fonts FAQ for the Vimeo Screencast gives the following on the page:

I have the latest version but it’s still not working correctly.

Font size, Font color does not work.

I am using the twenty twenty one theme. I have installed Easy Google fonts plug in and changed paras and headings (H1 etc) but can’t work out how to change the font of the main heading and menu…as no option for that. Have also installed options for twenty twenty one. Help please!

Since updating to the 2nd version my fonts have not all been working. Easy google fonts is activated and all css selectors are correct, I haven’t changed them since updating.

I have updated to the latest version and still it’s not working.

Hoping I can find some help here and return my site to it’s original design.

I’ve just updated the plugin and, unfortunately, the Typography panel has completely disappeared (I still have the controls I’ve made + I made a new control, to see if it will appear, but still nothing). I’ve also deactivated all other plugins, in case there’s an issue, and tried several different themes, including Twenty Twenty-One. Is there anything I have to do to make the Typography panel appear in the Customizer after the update?

I have downloaded and installed the plugin and have access to Google fonts. I also have the API code installed. Although I have access to the fonts I do not have the option of Appearance, line height etc. I am using the Flatsome theme.
