I have this problem that suddenly the slider stopped showing. I have set the slider to work for every post and after I set images for more than one post all of the sliders stopped showing.
Console shows me an error that “undefined is not a function” in this part: (..)

I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with javascript much, but I didn’t mess with it. I did some styling in css file about the dots navigation, but it shouldn’t cause any problems. I don’t understand where the problem is. In the “inspect element” I see that the code reads easygalleryslider, with the height of 0 (!).
I didn’t search for a solution in the code because I’m not capable to, but I did try to uninstall the plugin, delete it and install again (deleting wordpress cache in the process). It came back to me with the very same settings and editing so there is probably a better way to restore the plugin with default settings that I don’t know.
I would be grateful for any help! This plugin is the best I’ve found for my purposes and it’s easy to be used by clients on contrary to different ones. However this issue I’m facing is sort of not be ignored as nothing is displaying.

]]>Hi, I was wondering how can I manage the code in order to put the slider outside the entry-content area. I’m using twentyeleven, so the margins of the content area are too big, but I have already made the website based on this areas. I just need the slider to fit outside this divisions (just inside the primary <div> would be great.

I’ve got a huge problem with my galleries.
Every section of my portfolio (reportaz, plener, narzeczenstwo) loads awfully long, like 1 min long! I think the main reason is that the plugin loads every single image and only after that it allows the user to view the pictures. It’s a problem because I’ve got about 100 images in one section :(.
Is there a way to load one or two pics, and the load the rest as the viewer swaps them?

The plugin is working well on single posts and pages, but not on the main index/blog list. Here is my blog.
What can I do to either make the shortcode not show up at all, or make it work on the main blog list?

]]>I’m not sure why this happens. I’m just getting under way with this theme and beginning to load content. I was looking for a simple responsive slider for the home page. I’ve gone through all of the settings. Toggled things on and off throughout, but for some reason, it will not display on pages. On posts, the slider works fine. I started going through the various setting and display options, and it works and looks great. Pages, not so much.
I’m using a Portfolio Press theme that has plugins for a content framework and portfolio display. Wonder if that is the conflict?

I only have a trouble with some images that don’t seem to want to attached to the post. Those images are those already attached to an other post. I would like to be able to use an image in different post an egslider… but that’s not possible, is it a wordpress issue or a slider issue?

Underneath the slider 2 dots show up. I cant find what the problem is. I’ve read somewhere that its caused by the theme or template but there was no answer given how to solve this.

I’ve been using the Easy Gallery Slider on my website and now it is no longer showing up at all. The only thing showing up are the left and right arrows, but no images at all and the space where the images should appear (at the top is collapsed) – https://www.jtwindows.com/gallery/. I have since added the wordpress gallery plugin below it so that something shows up on the page. Is this plugin no longer compatible with Word Press 3.5? Or is there something I need to do to get the images to appear?

]]>the plugin should automatically add the slider on top of each post, which works pretty fine. but only on the single page of an article, not on the article archive pages.
i the dashboard i chose to show full articles in the newsfeed, not just excerpts.
i use the twenty-eleven theme

In the new Media window of WordPress 3.5, there is not the option to exclude image from gallery. Normally, we were using the order field, set a value to more than 999, and its done.
Has someone find a workaround for this issue? Now the plugin takes all the images from the custom fields as well..

Firstly thanks for a great plugin.
I’m wanting to lock down wp-content using a .htaccess file which works fine for all aspects of my site except this is stopping the slider images loading unless I allow access to PHP. This defeats the object of locking down the folder. I think this is being caused by the timthumb URL’s including the .PHP????
Additionally the timthumb URL’s aren’t great for SEO and I was wondering if you had any ideas on a fix to force ‘pretty’ URL’s to be output to the slider?
– Could I correctly size images in the wordpress gallery and then avoid using timthumb?
– Could a rewrite rule work on the timthumb URL’s?
– Could WP inbuilt resizer be used?

I’ve been using Easy Gallery Slider on a local version of a site, but when I put it on a WP Multisite blog for my client, it can no longer find images. I did some exploring found that your plugin is looking for images under the wp-content rather than the “wp-content/blogs.dir” that multisite uses.
Any tips for solving this? Do you think you will soon update the plugin to include this possibility?

I’d like to just use your short code in one of the content blocks, but I don’t know how to get it to link to a different page’s gallery images.
I tried the default wordpress gallery option id=”” , but that didn’t work.

]]>Is it possible to resize images without cropping them? All of the photos on my site are larger than the width/height that is set, however they are also all have different dimensions. Is there any way to have them scaled down to fit within the width and height and then given a matting if the dimensions do not match those from the settings?
