Easy Automatic Newsletter Lite is a good plugin to recycles blog posts into a newsletter and sends it out automatically, Once configured (takes about 10 minutes), it works automatically every month. But it would be really great if there is an update for new wordpress version- though i am not yet updated my site wordpress newspaper theme yet to 4.0, i guess it will work just fine but still it would not heart to have the plugin updated.

no whistles or trills, it’s okay.
It could be improved , but I prefer a well working swiss knife to a unsable, complicated, confusing baroque sword.

Some of the problems I face have already been asked on the wordpress support site & were never answered by the owner of the plugin. Therefore, I doubt if the owners are really serious about providing a good quality product.

The newsletters contains raw tags ([caption]Lorem ipsum[caption]) from posts. There is no option to strip tags from the newsletter. =C

This has the potential to be a really great plugin. It’s simple to understand, not overburdened by control panel features. But it’s just a little flakey yet.

It’s aggrivating.. the settings say ther are posts to send, the send date comes and goes, but last send date is still blank. No error message, nothing.
I’ve been trying to get it to work on a few sites for many months, no succsess.

I like the plugin’s simplicity. However, it has a couple significant problems, which I’ve shared in the support forum. It looks as if the author isn’t monitoring the forum.
If and when the plugin author returns to address the issues, I’ll be happy to revise my rating and review.
