Hi, it seems I can’t add new links or update the existing ones. The “Create / Save” buttons are greyed out and are not clickable. Is this a limitation of the free plugin?

Hello, I have the default color for links on my website set as black but i can change this in the block editor and customise the color of links.

But for the affiliate links, even if i set a link text to be blue, when i insert the link, it becomes black,

I want to make all Easy affiliate links text color on all page to blue,,, What code can I add to get this functionality.

The “settings” page and the “manage” page are not loading inside wordpress since updating.

I am just getting a “loading….” and nothing is coming up.

this plug in seem to bloat the database. How to clean it? My host complains it eats more than 600 mb of space. The table is called wpdx_mteafl_clicks

The mt prefix comes from my website. WP optimizer plug in was not able to clean it’s waste. Any other suggestions?

Hi! I have an affiliate link https://litfan.ru/link/litnet-main/ . And I’ve just changed it’s destination from https://litnet.com/?_lnref=d0U7IkTc to https://litnet.com/auth/register/?_lnref=d0U7IkTc

However, when I check the link from my Google Chrome browser, then for some reason, it redirects me to my website’s admin panel (in your plugin’s tab). Even if I use a direct link https://litnet.com/auth/register/?_lnref=d0U7IkTc , then it still redirects me to your tab in admin panel. Which is weird.

I tried to sign out from my website, but the links still redirect me to admin panel. But if I check in incognito mode, or another browser, then all the links redirect correctly.

What could possibly cause this thing?

Hi, I see settings for logs, numbers, but no button to remove data from wp_eafl_clicks, which has grown to hundreds of megabytes. What’s the safe way to empty the table?

Clicking on the big yellow button at the beginning of the page should trigger a redirect, but it doesn’t. On the contrary, when I check the url (https://tinbankinfo.com/go/go-job) in the redirect analyzer, I get code 403 instead of 302. All settings are set by default, what am I doing wrong?

Hi. I’m testing various URL shortener plugins. Most are bloated and filled with ad notifications.

I like Easy Affiliate Links better. It is not as pushy (but includes/admin/class-eafl-marketing.php doesn’t make me happy) and is affordable.

However, the client requires no link prefix. (I know this can cause link conflicts.) If I set a blank shortlink slug in the settings it automatically uses foo.com/easy_affiliate_link/slug.

Is it possible to use a blank prefix?

It is the only thing keeping me from using this plugin. Otherwise I’ll have to use BetterLinks or similar and write a function to silence the constant ads, upsells, and forced unusable PRO-only sidebar panels.

I keep getting a server timeout message when trying to import an updated CSV of about 500 links. Unfortunately, it’s not unusual because I’m hosted on a shared server plan. Is there a manual way to import the CSV? Perhaps via FTP or database update?

Yours doesn’t have the WP option to create categories? I see the category field, but it’s greyed out & I don’t see a way to create categories.

And I wanted to be able to search easily for ones I already created & see how many links are are in each category, just like on WP with post categories.

And I created a test link & it has the word “recommends” in the URL. How do I get rid of that?

Would it be possible to create Child Links? What I would like to see is ability to create:
– Parent Link
– – Child link 1
– – Child link 2
– – etc..etc..
Only difference would be child link would have a different short link and maybe a description. This would be helpful if I want to do a split test and put Child link 1 on Page A, and Child Link 2 on Page B. This will allow me to test which ad performs better. This layout will also allow us to keep all related links together (Organized) and after test is complete, I can delete child link without effecting Parent link.

Is it possible to re-organize order in which table headers are shown. For an example, I might want to show Status as the first column, allowing me to move columns so I can see what I desire first without needing to scroll left<->right constantly.

The person who registers the first time with referal link, must remain forever connected to the person who registered him/her.

Whenever the registered person buys, he always generates commission only by logging in as a customer, without using the referal link.

It says that data for click stats is limited to 10 clicks, and to get premium version for more. Not sure exactly what limited to 10 clicks means. That it will only show the last 10 clicks for any given link?

Please quickly explain if you can. Link to documentation features free vs. premium would be good.

When easy affiliate links plugin is activated, Rankmath pop-up occurs notifying wp admin that easy affiliate links has been added to sitemap, etc and to adjust settings accordingly on Rankmath. There is option to enable or disable EAL on the sitemap.

Please explain, what is the purpose (or benefit) for enabling/including easy affiliate links in the sitemap?

WP admin > settings > permalinks > if you use the default option for postname, the value in the settings looks like this /%postname%/ see it has a trailing slash, so your post/page urls will look something like somewebsite.com/hello-world/

But I see that when I have this settings for permalinks (postname only) then the easy affiliate links somwebsitecom/goto/xyz/ does not work, and results in an Oops! Page not found 404 default WP error….

The only way I can get the easy affiliate link to work is if we remove the trailing slash in the permalink postname setting so it looks like /%postname%

And then if we refresh the easy affilate link manage links we see the affliate link url has changed to somewebsite.com/goto/xyz (no trailing slash)

And the affiliate link now behaves as desired and re-directs to the target URL.

Is the plugin developer aware of this issue and do you have any advice or documentation regarding this?

Hi! Some time ago I discovered by an accident, that my masked affiliate link opened, when I entered another URL. Here is, how it was:

My prefix is /link . So I have this affiliate link, for example: https://litfan.ru/link/text .

And on my website I have categories inserted in links. So it’s usually websitename/categoryname/postname .

And if I enter websitename/categoryname/affiliatelinkurl , then masked link is opened.

Here is an example with the same “text” affiliate link: https://litfan.ru/poleznye-resursy-dlya-pisatelej/text

Is it a bug? If yes, then can you fix it? Because one day a post name can match a masked link name, and I don’t know, what will happen then.

I’ve been using VLP plugin to display many link previews and in often cases, I am reusing the same link in multiple places. It’d be great to be able to manage and reuse them.

As this is your companion plugin, it’d be great to see either direct integration with VLP, or rather bring the link preview capability to Easy Affiliate Links. Right now, if I try to use VLP with EAL, I cannot search for EAL links unless it is an external link (almost all of my links are external). Also, EAL links are cloaked, but the VLP displays as an internal link. What I’d like to see is the link preview to be generated from the destination link, but have the link itself be the cloaked link.

Ideally, EAL could adopt some of the VLP capabilities, namely the attractive link preview display, while on the admin/link manager side, I’d be able to create and organize links, cloak them, track where they are used on my site, and bulk update them from one place. The key goal is link reuse on the backend, while having attractive link previews on the frontend.

I noticed a console error while visiting my pages and it seems to be linked to easy affiliate links.
If you go on any page, you will see this in the console:

Looking at this line in particular:

Hello there, first of all: compliments for the plugin, it is working very smooth!

We are trying now to import a CSV file with the import/export function in the plugin. The plugin is reading the file well (we are seeing the first 5 rows of the CSV file) and we are able to select the columns where we want to put the data in, but when we are choosing for import we are ending in a screen with the text:

Hello. There was a problem accessing the plugin. If permalinks are set as /%category%/%postname%/ (with a slash at the end), it returns an error https://prnt.sc/vg7a6d if you set the links as /%category%/%postname% everything works.
