why there is 12 item limit for submenu. cant we make it higher ???
any idea any one ?
Hi
Thanks for the plugin.
There appears to be a bug that prevents the Item Order options from working – taxonomy items are always shown in the same order in the menu, no matter which order is chosen in the settings.
The problem appears to be that DynTaxMI_Plugin_DynTaxMI::get_taxonomy_defaults() sets a default value of ‘ordering’ which overwrites the ‘order’ and ‘orderby’ that are subsequently read from the options.
I fixed it by commenting out this line in that function:
'ordering' => 'topic_count-desc',
I’ve created a custom taxonomy called ‘topics’ and used this plugin to automatically add new taxonomy items, works great. But the sub menu title, Topics in this case, links to the homepage. Can this be changed?
Thanks
Hi – i read the topic about the max items with 12, i also need much more (about 50). How can i configurate it? Or why is it limited to 12?
Thanks,
Claudio

]]>I tried this out, pretty nifty using WooCommerce custom attributes.
I did not see an option to make hierarchical menus though. For example, using 3 taxonomies
– Car Types: Sports, Family, Cargo, etc.
– Car Brands: Ford, GM, Honda, etc.
– Car Models: Fusion, Accord, etc.
I would click on Car Types and choose Sports, the child menu list would show BMW, Porsche, I click on BMW, the child menu list would show I suppose their entire model line ??
A little like categories but using custom taxonomies. The benefit is taxonomies are fast to import, whereas categories are slow to import.
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while.
Or can this plugin do something like that already?
