I recently enabled using MaxCDN through W3TC on my site. The only issue is that one user is reporting an issue with the countdown timer, that the numbers are showing up multiple times.
I’m not having this issue, however.
This user is on Chrome on Windows 8.
I tried to have her take a screenshot. She didn’t know how so she took a picture. My apologies for that, but I wanted to show what she was experiencing.

My site is: https://cocreationcoaching.org
In case it might be happening to others. But the countdown is only active for the next 2 days.
It might be common for site owners to not know the system time of their server, so it would be really helpful to either a) list the server’s current time (like /wp-admin/options-general.php
page does), or b) allow users to pick a time zone and have the plugin make the necessary adjustments to match the server time.
But otherwise, love this feature!
Thanks,

Hi, is there a way to remove the ‘hide bar’ arrow?
I don’t anyone to close notification.
Freshly installed copy of DW Promobar.
I haven’t changed the font settings at all but I tried to update the background color and it didn’t work.
Looking in the code I have this:
@font-face {
font-family: "0";
src: url('
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /var/sites/d/clientname.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/dw-promobar/dw-promobar.php on line 133
');
}
#dwpb {
font-family: 0;
}
It probably doesn’t show up for most as they are installing it on a production website but during dev I have debug mode on to root out any coding errors I’ve made.
Hi, nice Plugin!
We want to change the countdown language…
02d
22h
43m
06s
German:
02T (Tage/Days)
22S (Stunden/Hours)
43M (Minuten/Minutes)
06S (Sekunden/Seconds)
Can you help us?
Thank you!
Marco
countdown timer works like a charm! But … after saving, the countdown field is empty. When saving again, it’s then no longer visible and replaced by the regular message. Thus; small buggy. Pre-populate the countdown field with the saved value.
How can i apply the plugin to just one page?
I tried the tag, but it applies it to the tag page and not pages with that tag.
Thanks

Hello,
I installed the plug-in as it seems perfect for our needs. However, when I enable it, the only thing that shows at the top of the page is the “x” in the upper right corner. The bar does not show on any browser or device. Any ideas are appreciated.
Thank you
Hi, is there a way to remove the ‘hide bar’ arrow?
I am using the bar for a church website, lebanonbfc.org, to alert people when church is cancelled. The problem I am having is that if I hide the notification bar, and then come back to the site later, it is still hidden. Someone might accidentally hide the bar and then miss all future weather updates. Is there a way to remove the button entirely, or just make sure that the bar is always displayed? Thanks
I am using your plugin on my site that has an SSL certificate and when i choose a font I noticed that it loads it with http and I need it to load with https so my site doesn’t show that it is being loaded with insecure content. Is it possible to force all fonts to load with https?
thanks and great plugin btw
I added the DW Promobar throughout my site, and it works great. However, I cannot also apply it to the WP login page (which is initially the 1st page of our site.) Is this possible?
Is there a way to remove the bar from individual pages?
I tried with CSS using display:none; but this still leaves the white gap at the top of the page with the rest of the site pushed down.
Hi,
Is there a way to use shortcode or php in order to display the title of the post on where the promobar is showed and add the Facebook sharer url + the post url behind the link / button of the promobar ?
Thanks a lot,
Adriano
DW Promobar is at this moment only editable when logged in as admin. How can my client (editor) edit the DW promobar ?
Thanks,
Kevin
Line 14 of assets/js/main.js is too arbitrary as it entirely removes the style attribute from the body tag.
If the theme or another plugin has already added items to the style attribute, these are wiped when opening or closing the promobar.
When selecting Yes for the “Allow to Close PromoBar ?” option, the close button remains white. This makes for poor contrasts when a light background colour is chosen.
I am running DW Promobar 1.0.2 on WP 3.8.1 in the Genesis framework. I successfully installed and set up your plugin, and styled the background colors and button colors through the dashboard. Everything worked fine until I de-selected “Remain at top of page.” Now, despite the dashboard showing a different color selection, the background is orange with a wide white border. I’ve deactivated all other plugins, changed to the default theme – nothing works. When I inspect the DW Promo container it looks as though the plugin is dropping the # from the hex color for any color that is entered through the plugin.
Hi folks,
Thanks for this fabulous plugin. I’m trying to set the bar to push the page down but not remain at the top of the page. However, whenever I select “yes” for “push page down”, it automatically selects “yes” for “remain at top of page”.
Is there a way to set it so that the bar will push the page down, but not remain at the top of the page?
