I’d been looking high and low for a simple, minimalist social sharing plugin and finally found it in Social Sharing by Danny! Unlike the vast majority of the other social sharing plugins out there, Danny’s frees you of the unwanted bells and & whistles that just needlessly suck up resources and complicate things.
This plugin is reliable, flexible, beautiful, and super-easy to implement. Best of all, the developer, Danny, is incredibly responsive and receptive to new ideas. In fact, I recently suggested a new feature and boom – literally within hours Danny had it integrated into the plugin and working perfectly.

Does what it says on the tin. Quick and easy to set up.
Opted for this discreet plugin over bloated and tacky competitors.
Some users may miss additional networks (Microsoft’s Linkedin and Emperor Zuckerberg’s Instagram).

I tried 3 plugins recommended by many reviewers, all do not worked or the config is so messy and cannot be saved. The jetpack one was OK for 5 years and then it destroy the WP media library images by making it invisible.
This plugin works the first time with no effort and show 3 social media only: FB, Twitter and G+. Need just 2 additional one: Pinterest and Linked to make this perfect

I found this plug-in via “The Best Social Media Sharing Button Plugins for WordPress” by Kevin Muldoon at WinningWP(dot com). I had a spent a frustrating half day and a bit reviewing other social media sharing plug-ins, where I’d get excited about the description & ratings of a plug-in, only to get a shock from reading the 1-star reviews on its effect on performance, hidden link backs & the need to pay for premium/subscription options to get more than basic functionality working.
So far, so good with Social Sharing by Danny. It lives up to Kevin Muldoon’s review, the support looks good AND Danny has other interesting plug-ins, like MailChimp.
So I’m happy & will be happy to make a donation! ??
