Hello,
I have noticed that in Analytics, there are pages listed that are not present on my website at all. They result in 404 errors, but Analytics still includes them. Why is this happening?
Thanks,
Laszlo

]]>Hi Thomas ,
First of all, thanks for amazing plugin.

We are using GTM4WP on a site and we are experiencing a bug where Woocommerce transactions go through but the payment confirmation page doesn’t load. We have tried disabling the site plugins one by one and have found that it is GTM4WP that is breaking this. Deactivating it allows Woocommerce to function as expected and the confirmation page loads. Do you know what might be causing this issue?
]]>I just started using the GTM4WP (thanks for making life easier)
Problem:
When visiting a single product page (variable product), I’m seeing both Price and Value as “string” instead of Numbers.
I tried creating new product, clearing cache, completely deleted all tags/variables (even deleted GTM account), tried with new account and containers, uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin – but still the same issue.

Dear all,
the order attribution origin is always “unkown”. In the concole there are two warnings after purchase event as follow:

[GTM4WP] Data layer codes are active but GTM container must be loaded using custom coding !!!
Can anybody help that the attribution origin can be shown?

Any other custom setting or code is required?

Hello, is there a way to prevent Google Tag Manager and Analytics from being loaded or running on my checkout page?
]]>Google Analytics is tracking order and revenue, but it’s doubled. We are checked with Google Analytics Pro FAQ https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-google-analytics-pro/#section-20
Q: I’m using Google Tag Manager and it looks like all my reporting is doubled! What should I do??A:?You’ll need to?remove the Google Analytics?portion of the code from your Tag Manager implementation.
We are disabled the GTM4WP plugin and tested. seems to have worked turning the plugin off we are being under tracked on GA4 rather than over tracked, I have also seen that we have had a big drop in conversions on Google campaigns going from an average of 100+ a day to less than 40 conversions a day.
Does it affect ads campaigns when switched off the GTM4WP plugin? and could you share the handbook of how to install GTM4wp properly for the site and Google analytics and how we would go about removing tag manager standalone?

]]>Hello, I need help removing some code left by a previous developer.
I have recent;y taken over the management of a Woocommerce website, this plugin is installed but it references external GTM accounts that I do not have access to – So I have had to setup new GTM, and setup with your plugin and events as instructed on your website.
I have come to make the change over to the new GTM account, but the Container code ON/OFF option in the Addon is Set to OFF.
I can’t seem to find the file I need to alter to remove the custom code the previous developer has placed. Can someone point me in the right direction to remove this code?
I have tried to find the code in the WordPress theme but I can’t seem to find it.
Thanks

]]>I was trying to use this plugin but what problem I am facing is add_to_cart event is being triggered for some add_to_cart buttons but others not . Its working for explore page but not working for homepage items display.
gtm.clicklink event is being triggered in that place on the homepage but working for explore page and specific product pages as well .
I have checked everything with the doc :
https://gtm4wp.com/gtm4wp-for-developers/how-to-make-your-wordpress-theme-compatible-with-enhanced-ecommerce-tracking
What can be the possible solution to this?
Thanks
I’m using GTM4WP version 1.20.2 with WooCommerce 9.3.3 (both current versions as of today).
Google emailed me a warning about an error involving enhanced conversions.
I investigated and found this in my Google Ads diagnostics:
I went through all the GTM4WP settings and looked at the “instructions” from Google. It’s not clear what I need to do here to fix this. Here’s what I’ve got going on in my Google Tag Manager account:
I take it I need to tweak my conversion tracking tag to include the additional customer information specified in the Google diagnostic warning (email, phone, address).
I went to edit the Google Ads Conversion Tracking tag and found a checkbox labelled “Include user-provided data from your website”:
If I check that, it looks like I need to configure a new variable:
What do I use for Email, Phone, and Name/Address? Or should I just select “Automatic Configuration”? Is there any documentation on configuring this?
Thank you.

]]>Hi,
Thanks a lot for this plugin, it works like a charm.
I have a small issue with the view_item_list event which is being triggered on all my website’s pages. I guess this is due to the fact that I have some products displayed in my main menu. Also, on single product pages, there are related products which cause this event to trigger.
Is there a way to set a threshold of products above which this event should trigger? Or can i make it trigger only on category pages?
Thank you

I’m using your plugin to send e-commerce order information to Google Tag Manager. I’ve enabled the WooCommerce integration and added the GTM ID.

Could you assist in resolving this issue with the plugin?

Here’s what I have tried so far:
Despite these steps, the issue persists. Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this problem or suggest any additional troubleshooting steps I might have missed?
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

I am using your plugin to feed Google Tag Manager with e-commerce orders informations. I have ticked the ‘woocommerce’ integration in the plugin and completed the GTM number.
